thanks for the kind words..boogie woogie can be played in different ways..what I hear sometimes is that people forget that boogie woogie is blues and there should be a story on it..not just banging on the piano...but sometimes people love that..more the show then the skills..well Im glad there are always people who knows what the technique, sound, touch, etc makes it all worthed somehow

it feels like playing in heaven with all the stars from the past. Playing the piano is so much fun, when I feel down I just play for hours , it really clears up my mind :)

Right. Show is (sometimes) also important. But a show with skills and technique is often even more `entertaining` and grooving than a show without skills. And I do also think that it is enriching for a boogie woogie when the audience sees that the pianist is enjoying his playing, that he merges (auf deutsch: verschmelzen) with the boogie.

yes that would be an idea..Im thinking of making a Dvd with lessons..well with boogie woogie you can always add more in the left hand like for example before going to G use D7 or go to E7 or A7..ok in C there are only three chords, but if you know what "swing" is all about you can get anything out of a piano..

I always find it really great when people know how to improvise like that... BUT .. isn't it so with boogie woogie that you have a "limited" amount of right hand riffs and patterns? I mean, could you do a good improvisation with about 100 riffs and patterns? With for example only 1 left hand pattern?
Maybe it's a good idea to make a DVD course with 100 Boogie Woogie riffs and patterns. ;)
If you know those 100 riffs, then you'd probably learn to make up new riffs on your own...
