What made Take Care so good wasn’t Abel. It was a great album because it had patience, and gave the songs room to breath. It successfully captured the feeling on being in your 20’s and trying to vie for love, family, money and success. It was relatable. Somewhere along the line, Drake lost that patience.

I’m glad Fantano was actually decently positive about this album, I feel pretty similar. Usually I disagree with him, but I think he was pretty good here. This album has a lot of good songs, but it also has a lot of unnecessary shit added to the songs (Jerk Chicken girl on song w/ 21, Adonis feature on Daylight, etc.). The album is also way too long! Drake needed to trim down the tracklist and make it more concise. With that said, Drake’s rapping is animated and his singing is passionate. The best selection was really good too! I’d give the album like a 7/10. It isn’t perfect, but it has a lot of good and fun songs on it that I’ll come back to. This was way better than CLB and Honestly Nevermind, on par with Her Loss except Her Loss is shorter and has less filler so it’s an 8/10.

The reason Take Care was so good was a shit ton of songs had help from Abel “The Weeknd” and some of the songs were finished for his own EPs but gave them to Drake
Stop with this narrative that The Weeknd was the one who made take care. The Weeknd worked on like 3 songs and if he made those songs they wouldn’t be as good as drake’s and the songs where The Weeknd is involved are some of the worst on the album

What made Take Care so good wasn’t Abel. It was a great album because it had patience, and gave the songs room to breath. It successfully captured the feeling on being in your 20’s and trying to vie for love, family, money and success. It was relatable.
Somewhere along the line, Drake lost that patience.

for me theres like 4-5 records that could’ve been left on the cutting board and maybe some better tracks in the vault get released instead. His writing is good, this is his funniest album which makes sense because it goes with that poetry book he wrote. I knew that this album was gon be more rnb cuts and I knew from some leaks the bangers would bang so Im pretty satisfied. I like this better than Honestly Nvm, CLB and DLDT. Not her loss and the rest of his discog.

I’m glad Fantano was actually decently positive about this album, I feel pretty similar. Usually I disagree with him, but I think he was pretty good here. This album has a lot of good songs, but it also has a lot of unnecessary shit added to the songs (Jerk Chicken girl on song w/ 21, Adonis feature on Daylight, etc.). The album is also way too long! Drake needed to trim down the tracklist and make it more concise. With that said, Drake’s rapping is animated and his singing is passionate. The best selection was really good too! I’d give the album like a 7/10. It isn’t perfect, but it has a lot of good and fun songs on it that I’ll come back to. This was way better than CLB and Honestly Nevermind, on par with Her Loss except Her Loss is shorter and has less filler so it’s an 8/10.
