The Movement of Stream Sediment for Youth

Learn how stream sediment moves from our Watershed Program Assistant, Amanda Cabanillas, of Cornell Cooperative Extension Ulster County. This video is part of a series of instructional science videos that were created as part of our distance learning program in support of elementary school students within the Onteora Central School District during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic. This particular video was made for students participating in the Watershed Detectives Club afterschool program. The Onteora Central School District is located near the Esopus Creek in the Catskill Mountain region of upstate New York.
