I've worked with custom blocks for a while but I was wondering if there is any way to make your custom block have different mining speeds based on what vanilla tool you are using? It is always weird for survival addons when a wooden pick mines a block at the same speed as a diamond one.

Currently we don't have that feature yet, all that is executed within the item, at the moment we can't edit vanilla item behaviour

@Crazy Rj It would be nice I we could simply at least add working block tags to custom blocks. So, if you added a wood tag to it, it would be mined best with axes. I know tags like those are already usable but they don't seem to do anything.

I keep running into an issue where the game seems to not realize that my custom block exists because when I run the /give command it doesn't show my block.
This is been a problem I've run into for months now.
