- Hello, this video is a tribute to Arco Arena, Sleep Train Arena where the @SacramentoKings played for a long time. Great memories were lived in this building. Sad to see the Arena be demolished for other opportunities in the future. The images, sounds, or pictures used in this video were assumed to be of public domain. Went to concerts there, graduation, monster trucks lots of events, sad to see it’s gone.
What a shame as a Laker fan we had many good battles in that building Kobe had some of his best games in that building

I went to several King's games here in the early 1990's; it was in the middle of nowhere and they gouged you for parking!

Why They Keep Tearing Down These Fine Arenas When They Can Use For Youth Basketball Leagues And Basketball Camps
The Kings should move the #6 statue to the Golden 1 Center.
Why did the kings have to move to a new building downtown? Was this arena really that old? Sleep Train Arena is much bigger and has spacious outside lot compare to Golden 1 Center. I've lived in this area since 1984 and watch the King moved here in the mid 80's. At first, they used a smaller ARCO Arena building nearby before they moved to this bigger Sleep Train Arena. This is really heartbreaking!

The new ownership moved the Arena to Downtown Sacramento. They built a new more sophisticated arena, unfortunately, the new arena has not brought more wins. Hopefully one day, they will participate in playoffs. Thanks for watching the video! 🙌

Sometimes Ushering a New Era to an organization is great. Trust me cause when we had to Demolish The Igloo in Pittsburgh I was so devastated but PPG Paints Arena Ushered in a New Era of winning for the Pittsburgh Penguins
