Wow, I guess people "as in most of us" don't realize how much work goes into your end of PO day. I would burn out rather quickly myself. No wonder you saidyou just can't get to your house keeping. You couldn't even get out of cooking breakfast for 1 day. Talk about Super Duty! Is there anyway you could set a number of gifts that wouldn't be so overwhelming for you and then have a family member store the extras and pull out on days that you don't have 10. If that ever happens. What a blessing, y'all are so loved!! But yeah a double edged sword for sure.. That was allot for your dad to have to do in the rain as well. Your parents are truly the sweetest!! Your Mom's heart when it came to baking that pound cake. They must have quite the love story... Ohh let's not forget Zoe' how cute was sure watching every bite of that cake. Cutest pup ever!!!
I was actually thinking about how cozy your home looked and how relieved I was that you had things out on surfaces. Normal family life is a relief to see with all of that pretend perfection out there on social media!! The clutter in my home is a constant. But I have a (usually) happy kid, and that's more important to me. I find your videos so inspiring. Oh, and I'm particularly impressed by the fact that you start filming before you've even had your coffee!! :)
That's so true. I always see those homes on instagram that are beautiful, yes. But these people are only posting when their house is spotless. Or maybe they don't have a full, lived in house. So those of us living in real time are seeing these facade posts and it makes you feel so low. I just hope that if anyone reading this feels this way, like I do, just remember it is okay to be human. I constantly have to remind myself that social media is a facade. I would much rather spend my time watching/seeing real life situations that I can relate to and make me feel good than these button up, perfect lives we see on social media.

Not being mean but I think you should close the PO Box or you go get all the packages and keep them put up without her knowing. And just give her a package here and there or special occasions. I agree. Fathering Autism seems to be more about how many channels they can have on social media. I realize that is the way they make their money but it just seems like it is more about the channels than reality. Love the relationship they have with Abby but it just seems all about the channels. I watch every once in a while but seem to watch less and less.
I don’t think we should COMPARE why do people ALWAYS DO THIS!!?? if they make their income to support their family in this same exact way, I think we should focus on the awareness and life’s realities each can (and do) help us tackle above all else. If you watch the earlier videos for fathering autism and Abbie it was much different than where they are now but they, their channel(s), are just starting to get rolling in their new home and if it’s clean one day and a mess then next how does that even make its way in to what YOU compare and look at and judge, just curious??? It’s about Abbie and Jess and telling their stories and raising awareness itself for developmental disorders and ASD and so much more. WE LOVE JESS’s stories and adventures and we love Abbie’s why would you even compare? If their chapter 276 is Jess’s chapter 117 it’s not a true comparison and it’s not relevant. Why compare??? That’s what hurts and torments so so so many kids, content creators, women, influencers, and normal people ever day yet here we are doing it on JESS’S page?? Wow.

I wish you didn't have to walk on eggshells regarding po day and if the packages are too much stress to handle you might have to tell her it's coming to an end. It was sad to see that you asked her to postpone it to the next day and she started getting upset and said no. But I understand you have to pick your battles, just upsetting that something so fun can cause her so much anxiety. I don't mean this with any ill will, it just seems to have become too much of an obsession and doesn't seem fair to you.

I wish I could have clutter around, my daughter with autism also has ocd and adhd so she is constantly cleaning and gets panicked if there's is mess. She describes having autism and adhd as being both a dog and cat at the same time. How about people making donations to local hospitals bringing the over worked nurses gift cards in honor of Jess and you Val Maybe one of your viewers can collect the donations and mail them to a place of Jess’s choice. No one needs weekly gifts like that. I know I’m 5 months behind, but the look on your face in the bathroom just broke my heart. When I had my daughter the first thing my big sister told me (best advise) was that it was more important to spend time with my kid then worrying about keeping a perfect house. Things may be a little messy but I know I didn’t waste precious time away from my kiddo. I think more moms need to realize that it’s okay to put those chores off and just hang with your family. Life is too short

Yessss! I am always amazed at our self perception because we tend to be our biggest critics. Her home is perfect IMO, it’s an actual home and not a “set” created for views. She keeps a clean home and is genuine which draws me in and warms my heart. It’s refreshing to see real ppl and hard to come by these days.
Val, I had a little outpatient surgery today and I was scared of being asleep and them being incomplete control of my body during the surgery. But since I've been watching Jess and your channel, I've witnessed how you are a nurse by profession and so I connected how kind you are and that maybe other nurses are like you. It's weird but cool how that helped me think I might be okay and guess what, a couple of the nurses who were there WERE kind, compassionate, gentle like you. None of them were mean and scary like I was afraid. I know this is a stupid comment but I'm just thankful that we watching you guys' videos get to know you like this on your channel. I will probably delete this comment in a little bit since I'm being weird. I just woke up from my nap after sleeping in my bed right after I got home still 'hung over's from surgery. Thanks for sharing Jess with the world and thanks for being one of the coolest, kindest people on TH-cam. WOW, Val 😳 That’s a LOT of packages!! I’m so glad you did this video! I love how authentic you are. I worry about you and the day to day stress of living. I’ve had a package here for a few months 🙈to send to Jess but after seeing this video, I’m gonna old off. I have no children and no pets but my Lyme disease gets in my way big time along with fighting multiple viruses for a year now. I STILL have bins of Christmas decorations not put away and other stuff laying around. I love a home that looks cozy and lived in. I try not to let it stress me...but it does🙄 I sure hope you can get some much needed rest and chill time. Did Marlow cut back on her days there? Just curious as I’ve not seen her as much. Hello Val and Jessica. Val, first of all, life happens. Your videos aren't about cleaning, etc. Your viewers shouldn't care if your house is a little messy. No judgement here. That's what I love about you. You show real life. Your not fake and you don't act like your life is so perfect. I've seen some channels that must want people to think they live a perfect life. I'm sorry that no thought was put towards how Jessica's mail affects you. I can see how happy it makes her, but never thought about all the hard work that goes into it afterwards. I deal with anxiety everyday. I don't know if you do. Working and caring for Jess and being a single mother has to be extremely hard. I feel bad that you have been dealing with the stress of it for so long. But that shows how much your love for Jess and her happiness is. Jess is so dearly loved no matter if she gets gifts or not. I get it!!!!!! After working 12 hours I can’t wait to come home and sit down on the couch with my feet up and put the TV on, but I have a dog at home, also 😍 So when I get home I have to feed him and walk him, because I don’t have a fenced in yard. After I walk him I have to give him attention because I’ve been gone all day 🥲 Then I have to usually do up a few dishes or a load of laundry or some thing, so it’s usually 1 1/2 or 2 hours before I get to sit sometimes. I could cry! So like I said, I get it!!!! Oh!!!! And btw I have NEVER noticed a messy house 👍❤️ Maybe you can get a day of rest tomorrow 🤷♂️

I didn’t read all 205 comments, but the ones I read, I’m not sure people were understanding what all those gifts put you through, Jess anxiety and let’s not forget Nona and Granddad. That is just way to much!! How about people making donations to local hospitals bringing the over worked nurses gift cards in honor of Jess and you Val Maybe one of your viewers can collect the donations and mail them to a place of Jess’s choice. No one needs weekly gifts like that. I know I’m 5 months behind, but the look on your face in the bathroom just broke my heart. People will never understand, it’s up to you to ask them to donate in Jess’s honor, all the Nurse’s in the world need to be showered with love and I think you being a nurse and Jess’s dreams of becoming one someday is the answer to all those weekly gifts. When I had my daughter the first thing my big sister told me (best advise) was that it was more important to spend time with my kid then worrying about keeping a perfect house. Things may be a little messy but I know I didn’t waste precious time away from my kiddo. I think more moms need to realize that it’s okay to put those chores off and just hang with your family. Life is too short

Yessss! I am always amazed at our self perception because we tend to be our biggest critics. Her home is perfect IMO, it’s an actual home and not a “set” created for views. She keeps a clean home and is genuine which draws me in and warms my heart. It’s refreshing to see real ppl and hard to come by these days.
Val, I had a little outpatient surgery today and I was scared of being asleep and them being incomplete control of my body during the surgery. But since I've been watching Jess and your channel, I've witnessed how you are a nurse by profession and so I connected how kind you are and that maybe other nurses are like you. It's weird but cool how that helped me think I might be okay and guess what, a couple of the nurses who were there WERE kind, compassionate, gentle like you. None of them were mean and scary like I was afraid. I know this is a stupid comment but I'm just thankful that we watching you guys' videos get to know you like this on your channel. I will probably delete this comment in a little bit since I'm being weird. I just woke up from my nap after sleeping in my bed right after I got home still 'hung over's from surgery.

WOW, Val 😳 That’s a LOT of packages!! I’m so glad you did this video! I love how authentic you are. I worry about you and the day to day stress of living. I’ve had a package here for a few months 🙈to send to Jess but after seeing this video, I’m gonna old off. I have no children and no pets but my Lyme disease gets in my way big time along with fighting multiple viruses for a year now. I STILL have bins of Christmas decorations not put away and other stuff laying around. I love a home that looks cozy and lived in. Hello Val and Jessica. Val, first of all, life happens. Your videos aren't about cleaning, etc. Your viewers shouldn't care if your house is a little messy. No judgement here. That's what I love about you. You show real life. Your not fake and you don't act like your life is so perfect. I've seen some channels that must want people to think they live a perfect life. I'm sorry that no thought was put towards how Jessica's mail affects you. I can see how happy it makes her, but never thought about all the hard work that goes into it afterwards. I deal with anxiety everyday. I don't know if you do. Working and caring for Jess and being a single mother has to be extremely hard. I feel bad that you have been dealing with the stress of it for so long. But that shows how much your love for Jess and her happiness is. Jess is so dearly loved no matter if she gets gifts or not. I get it!!!!!! After working 12 hours I can’t wait to come home and sit down on the couch with my feet up and put the TV on, but I have a dog at home, also 😍 So when I get home I have to feed him and walk him, because I don’t have a fenced in yard. After I walk him I have to give him attention because I’ve been gone all day 🥲 Then I have to usually do up a few dishes or a load of laundry or some thing, so it’s usually 1 1/2 or 2 hours before I get to sit sometimes. I could cry! So like I said, I get it!!!! Oh!!!! And btw I have NEVER noticed a messy house 👍❤️ Maybe you can get a day of rest tomorrow 🤷♂️
