Thanks for this tip. Wheel bearing completely stuck in my son's Clio drum . My press wouldn't shift it. Luckily I had a similar kit . Holding in the vice great idea. Worked a treat
thanks for posting this. i had to remove my megane brake drum and it seized because the outside ofthe bearing was seized to the drum and the inside of the bearing was seized to the axle. the bearing came apart and the outside of the bearing is now impossible to remove from the brakedrum. have you any idea howw to remove it
thanks, i pressed it out from the hub using a socket and put an angle grinder on the part which was siezed to the axle. the grinder built up enough heat in the bearing part to loosen it.
When using the old bearing to push in the new one, only the outer race should be used, pushing at all on the inner race will cause damage and much reduced bearing life.

No problem! You have to be creative when you're working with limited tools.
Great video! Very helpful! I,m going to replace my bearing!
Thanks!, good luck.
Replacement done successfully! Thanks one more time!
Good job!
Really good and informative video!
I'm glad you liked it. Thank you for watching!
The bearing in the tool is designed to stay between the nut and the cup, otherwise make any sense to use a bearing as a spacer.
Thank you sir.
Your last note: Is it best to replace both wheel bearings "in pairs"?
Great video! what bearing puller set do you have and what diameter puller do i need to extract the bearing?
50 mm

That really sucks when that happens. Can also be very dangerous. I think a slide hammer is your best friend in this case. Sorry for the late replay.

@@roontunes That really is a drastic measure but if it works it works!
I take you tried cir clip pliers first but just not shown it?
Sure, around the 4:50 mark.
Great video

put the bearing in the freezer for 24 hr, then put the other part in owen on 200 degrees in 30 min, so simple it fits in directly as u shrink it :D
You are correct. But I just don't have the patience for that :-)
Original bearing brand is SNR. But SKF Good
Really? so you learn every day.
