Thank you TLC for having me take a look again at Proverbs 24:30-34. Made me recognize the importance of taking time …waking up earlier, to read and study the Bible with God helps me to tend the garden of my mind. Clear out the rubble, thorns and weeds. To “sleep in longer”, to “hit the snooze button”, can turn into a reoccurring thing and soon the weeds and thorns of life with crowd the garden of my mind. I wake up early to spend time in God’s word. I used to listen to the Bible reading using my Bible App the listen to the podcast. I soon realized that I wasn’t as focused. So then I changed it to make a point to get myself out of bed, go to the living room, light a candle and sit in a chair, then listen to the reading while my physical Bible is in hand for me to highlight and write notes in the margins. I have read through the Bible multiple times in my life, but this time, while being more intentional, I find myself connecting lots of dots and gaining a much better understanding of who God is. I am now tending to my garden.
Beautifully spoken-a picture of choosing to grow closer to the Lord and the coziness and comfort He gives us in the cool of the morning, walking through the Garden.
"knowing God is the chief busines of our lives" I like this, it is my purpose in life to know God. I pray that by collaborating with TLC & TBR in my reading of the Bible everyday, it will increase my knowledge, wisdom and understaning of God, to live my everyday in sync with God 🌸

Thanks TLC: God appoints “watchers” over those who are stumbling towards slaughter. That’s why it’s important to share the gospel so that none perish. God loves, we should too. Tara’s godshot was amazing. Reminding us all that, we were all enemies of god at one point and he still had the abundance of love to accept us into his family, so if god can forgive us for all we’ve done, who are we to hold grudges against the wicked (our enemies)when we ourselves originated from wickedness. God Bless y’all.✝️💪
Thank you Lord for knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. I'm so grateful to know you more today then yesterday and to work for the one true King, Yahwah.

I gave up wine a few months ago after feeling convicted about it. I wasn’t an every day wine drinker but I felt it was becoming a distraction from my getting closer to the Lord and that it was a stumbling block for me. Praying for you.
@@SusanJames-f9o thank you so much. I’m in a similar situation- it’s not an everyday thing, but if God is showing me that it’s a distraction, that’s enough.
My God shot for today was found In Proverbs 23:4-5 - “Don’t wear yourself out trying to get rich. Be wise enough to know when to quit. In the blink of an eye wealth disappears, for it will sprout wings and fly away like an eagle.” In the world we live in that encourages amassing more than anyone else, these verses are so true to someone who has lived life long enough to know money isn’t the answer. God is the only way of completion. True contentment is only found in a relationship found when we go through the narrow gate in relationship with Jesus!
I am so thankful that God saw fit to include the book of Proverbs in His word. Such practical advice for living an honorable life as we wait for the return of Jesus Christ. My God shot for today is that God is in control of everything. God made all things. "The rich and the poor meet together; the Lord is the Maker of them all" (Proverbs 22:2 ESV). Yes and Amen Tara-Leigh. Knowing God is the chief business of life!
I picked 2 things from this video: - "Knowledge is having facts; Understanding is ability to discern what the facts mean & know how things fit together in the vig picture; Wisdom is knowing how to apply your knowledge and understanding." ~ TLC. These meanings were much needed for better understanding and clarity generally speaking. - God doesn't rejoice when our enemies fall, He wants the best for them because they're much His creations as we, neither should we therefore rejoice at their fall. He wills that they receive the Light of His Word and repent. Thank you TLC and all the crew. God greatly bless and keep you for Himself till the end of age, amen! 🙏🏽
Chapter 24:11 stuck out to me too. I felt it as a call to discipleship so we don't let the lost souls stay lost, but to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with them. I believe He is calling us to partner with Him to lead souls to salvation.
Aloha and good evening BR. I agree with your TL, God has a lot in store for me. His wisdom, knowledge, and understanding are why I serve him...He is where the JOY is!!!🙏💯
i think we as christians need to do a much better job of showing love to people who don't know Jesus. people are never going to step into the church if we're condemning and judging people all the time. but if we are forming relationships with those who we don't agree with, and if we are loving them like Jesus would, and meeting them where they're at, then that's how are going to come closer to God. not through judgement or condemning them. i love how TLC talked about God's heart for people who do not know Him. 🤍
My God shot comes from Proverbs 22:2 NIV, “Rich and poor have this in common: The Lord is the Maker of them all.” God made every person that has ever and will ever live on this Earth (or any other planet for that matter). He created each of us, He loves each of His creations and He wants each of us to fellowship with Him. That means He created every child in every third world countries who goes to bed hungry tonight and wants a relationship with them. It means He created the richest king who ever lived and wants a relationship with them. He created those who use their money for good and for evil alike, and He desires a relationship with them both. He created those who are born into poverty and cannot escape as well as those who live in poverty due to their own poor choices, and He desires a relationship with each of them. God created us all.
Yup, I’m behind and I’m one of those who beats themselves up over it. I had some serious illness this year and wasn’t capable of keeping up. BUT today I received EXACTLY what I needed for TODAY. No more questions His timing. God knew, when I was lying in the hospital 6 months ago, that I would need this today. He’s so good to me. I love him more every day. And TLC, red is your color! Do not wear green!! 😂😂😂
These Proverbs, written by a king who had subjects from other kingdoms seek his wisdom (Prov 22:21), is not showing us how to advance, to climb socially, to become the BMOC. If we find ourselves in the company of the high ranking and powerful, he tells us to not see it as an opportunity to grasp more (Prov 23:1). Jesus advises us the same in Luke 14:10: Don’t scramble for the seat of honor. Haven’t you ever wanted to sidle up to the VP at a company event and drop in exactly the right word so you come off as clever or valuable? But Solomon himself says, “Be wise enough to know when to quit…don’t desire their delicacies” (Prov 23:4,5). Proverbs is not Castiglione’s “Book of the Courtier,” showing us the path to influence and power. Instead, God wants me to “live a quiet life” (1 Thess 4:11). Like Boston sang in 1977, “All I want is to have my peace of mind.” What God wants me to grasp is peace, being content, and trusting Him for what He gives.
