The sad truth is, they went not because they didn't want to waste the tickets, they went just in case there's a change of plans and they get reinvited. Or maybe Obamas see them walking down the streets and would feel bad and put them back on the list. The thing is, even with non refundable flights, airlines are giving credits for future flights if you can't go.

That wasn’t a Muddy Waters song. It was a Robert Johnson song. But if you were just talking about him saying Muddy Waters, then fine. But there were two Delta blues singers than were mentioned, one by name and the other by song.
Muddy was the father of Chicago Blues, not delta blues.

Well (anecdotally), my vaccinated parents have delayed their trip down solely because of the governor's ridiculous handling of Covid. I truly wish we could ban traveling to/from FL and TX, but those governors seem determined to make everyone suffer the consequences of their poor decisions.
