Welcome home! I am actually a fully formed cradle Catholic who had lapsed for many years, then came back about 3 years ago. I enjoy watching these videos because now I am interested in apologetics. What I don't understand is that with many of the converts from islam, not many seem to take it all the way to the fullness of the Catholic Faith. I think many of them become misled during their conversion and stop at non-denominational Christian. That interests me. You would think that a convert would want the fullness. Anyway, each step is a big step! Peace be with you.

On our part as Roman Catholics, there is simply an unbroken continuity that started from the time Jesus Christ founded the Church. So many Christian sects would claim that their religion is the true Church because the name of there Church can be quoted in the Bible. 🤔 hmmmm! The fact is that the Church of Christ referred in the Bible were from the time Jesus the Christ founded the Church by appointing St Peter the rock to be the vicar and leader of the one and only Catholic (Universal) Church, “Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is interpreted Peter". Already, at this first meeting, the Saviour foretold the change of Simon's name to Cephas (Kephas; Aramaic Kipha, rock), which is translated Petros (Latin, Petrus) a proof that Christ had already special views with regard to Simon.... “Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jona: because flesh and blood hath not revealed it to thee, but my Father who is in heaven. And I say to thee: That thou art Peter [Kipha, a rock], and upon this rock [Kipha] I will build my church [ekklesian], and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give to thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven. And whatsoever thou shalt bind upon earth, it shall be bound also in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth, it shall be loosed also in heaven". Then he commanded his disciples, that they should tell no one that he was Jesus the Christ (Matthew 16:13-20; Mark 8:27-30; Luke 9:18-21). The words "bind" and "loose" are not metaphorical, but Jewish juridical terms. It is also clear that the position of Peter among the other Apostles and in the Christian community was the basis for the Kingdom of God on earth, that is, the Church of Christ founded by Christ Himself. Peter was personally installed as Head of the Apostles by Christ Himself. That He wishes to make Peter the head of the whole community of those who believed in Him as the true Messias; that through this foundation (Peter) the Kingdom of Christ would be unconquerable; that the spiritual guidance of the faithful was placed in the hands of Peter, as the special representative of Christ. This foundation created for the Church by its Founder could not disappear with the person of Peter, but was intended to continue and did continue (as actual history shows) in the primacy of the Roman Church and its bishops. St Peter (the Bishop of Rome) is the first Pope. Although, there were many bishops like Zaccheus the bishop of Ceasaria, Mora the bishop of Tripoli, etc., these bishops refer to Peter the Bishop of Rome as their leader. Up to the present, the Pope by tradition holds the position as head of the Roman Catholic Church, the Church of Christ referred in the Bible. The Pope is the foundation that started with Peter as installed by the Founder Jesus Christ, our Lord.

The claim of the Roman catholic church that the church is the one that built by Jesus based on Matthew 16:18 is a false claim. This is part of what Jesus foretold recorded at Matthew 24:1-2. When Jesus and his disciples are about to leave Jerusalem, Jesus told them that no stone in the wall of Jerusalem that will remain on top of the other stone. This was fulfilled during 70AD when Jerusalem was destroyed by the invading roman soldiers during the Jewish-Roman war, also called the First Jewish-Roman war. You can research it in encyclopedias like encyclopedia Americana or encyclopedia Britannica or even on the internet. While the history of Jehovah's witnesses even precedes Jesus time. We can read at Hebrews 11 and summarized in chapter 12:1 that those faithfuls in the likes of Abel, Enoch, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and other faithful Israelites are a great cloud witnesses of Jehovah, they are worshipping the only one true God Jehovah and did not worshipped any other gods. Read Isaiah 43:10. The shema, the daily prayer of the Israelites states that "Jehovah our God is one Jehovah." (Deuteronomy 6:4) The Israelites pray this day and night. The Israelites are the true people/nation of Jehovah God. Their belief system is the true worship that is approved and directed by Jehovah God Himself. They knew very well the truth that Jehovah God is only One Jehovah. They are even the ones who are the writer, the caretaker of his word the bible. What they lack now is the faith on Jesus as the Missaiah, the Christ, the one given by God to be the savior. They fall short on putting faith on Jesus, in fact they are the ones who killed Jesus and consequently lost the backing of Jehovah God. Even Jesus Christ is a faithful witness of Jehovah God. He is a Jehovah's Witness, a faithful one. (Read Rev 1:5) Jehovah is the God of Jesus and his Father, the same is true to us Jehovah's Witnesses, Jehovah is our God and our father and John 20:17 is clearly telling us this truth. Even this verse is telling us that Jesus is our brother not our god. This is consistent with matthew 12:50 and mark 3:35, Jesus said that his brothers are those doing the will of his father. Also Jesus said at John 4:23-24 that the true worshipper are those who worshipped his father, Jehovah God, worshiping in spirit and in truth. He did not said that the true worshipper are those worshipping him(Jesus) as God. Did he say that the true worshipper will worship him? In fact at John 17:3 Jesus said that the ONLY TRUE GOD is Jehovah. If Jesus is part of the true God, then Jesus is lying in this verse. But the real truth is that Jesus is the very first creation of Jehovah God, Rev. 3:14 says that Jesus is the beginning of the creation of Jehovah God and Col. 1:15 attested this truth, Jesus is the firstborn of all creation.

Paul Alima is not a Jehovah's Witness, he is a fraud! I'm a witness since late 1980s. Marami kasing mali sa mga sabi nya na alam ko, that's why I can categorically call this man a fraud/false witness. He is only claiming a witness but based on what he said, he is clearly not!

Answer these questions: When did Jesus pronounced his judgment to the dead person, and how? Why there is going to be a resurrection for the just and the unjust as what Acts 24:15 said if dead people are already in heaven or hell? Does resurrection mean that those who are in heaven will go down here on earth during resurrection? And how about to those unrighteous people who are in hell? I was christened as a child but my parents divorced and both then became JW and remarrying someone else. i left the JW when i was around 17 and pretty much my dad stopped talking and I am not 45. nevertheless i no longer believing in God and was borderline athiest. about 10 years ago or even more i started a journey to see if I could find God - naturally as an ExJW i wouldnt even consider the Catholic church although my family except for my parents were. i then met this wonderful woman and we started talking about the Catholic Church and i had it all wrong in my head and i started thr rcia classes and i was later confirmed. it has been a heck of a journey and i know that this is where i belong. later than woman became my wife.

WHY DO THEY HATE THE CATHOLIC CHURCH? The Catholic Church is attacked by 40000 man-made contradicting sects which in themselves are attacking each others' faith. Their founders and pastors all proclaimed to be guided by the Holy Spirit when they read the Bible, interpret it based on their personal understanding and claimed that they are the true Church. HOW MANY HOLY SPIRIT GUIDING THESE PROTESTANTS? 40000? Historically, the Bible was collected, selected, compiled and canonized by the Holy Catholic Church in the 4th century, that is about 1,200 years before protestantism started. Welcome home! I am actually a fully formed cradle Catholic who had lapsed for many years, then came back about 3 years ago. I enjoy watching these videos because now I am interested in apologetics. What I don't understand is that with many of the converts from islam, not many seem to take it all the way to the fullness of the Catholic Faith. I think many of them become misled during their conversion and stop at non-denominational Christian. That interests me. You would think that a convert would want the fullness. On our part as Roman Catholics, there is simply an unbroken continuity that started from the time Jesus Christ founded the Church. So many Christian sects would claim that their religion is the true Church because the name of there Church can be quoted in the Bible. 🤔 hmmmm!
The fact is that the Church of Christ referred in the Bible were from the time Jesus the Christ founded the Church by appointing St Peter the rock to be the vicar and leader of the one and only Catholic (Universal) Church, “Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is interpreted Peter". Already, at this first meeting, the Saviour foretold the change of Simon's name to Cephas (Kephas; Aramaic Kipha, rock), which is translated Petros (Latin, Petrus) a proof that Christ had already special views with regard to Simon....
“Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jona: because flesh and blood hath not revealed it to thee, but my Father who is in heaven. And I say to thee: That thou art Peter [Kipha, a rock], and upon this rock [Kipha] I will build my church [ekklesian], and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. The words "bind" and "loose" are not metaphorical, but Jewish juridical terms. It is also clear that the position of Peter among the other Apostles and in the Christian community was the basis for the Kingdom of God on earth, that is, the Church of Christ founded by Christ Himself.
Peter was personally installed as Head of the Apostles by Christ Himself. That He wishes to make Peter the head of the whole community of those who believed in Him as the true Messias; that through this foundation (Peter) the Kingdom of Christ would be unconquerable; that the spiritual guidance of the faithful was placed in the hands of Peter, as the special representative of Christ. This foundation created for the Church by its Founder could not disappear with the person of Peter, but was intended to continue and did continue (as actual history shows) in the primacy of the Roman Church and its bishops.
St Peter (the Bishop of Rome) is the first Pope. Although, there were many bishops like Zaccheus the bishop of Ceasaria, Mora the bishop of Tripoli, etc., these bishops refer to Peter the Bishop of Rome as their leader. Up to the present, the Pope by tradition holds the position as head of the Roman Catholic Church, the Church of Christ referred in the Bible. The Pope is the foundation that started with Peter as installed by the Founder Jesus Christ, our Lord.

This was fulfilled during 70AD when Jerusalem was destroyed by the invading roman soldiers during the Jewish-Roman war, also called the First Jewish-Roman war.

While the history of Jehovah's witnesses even precedes Jesus time. We can read at Hebrews 11 and summarized in chapter 12:1 that those faithfuls in the likes of Abel, Enoch, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and other faithful Israelites are a great cloud witnesses of Jehovah, they are worshipping the only one true God Jehovah and did not worshipped any other gods. Read Isaiah 43:10.
The shema, the daily prayer of the Israelites states that "Jehovah our God is one Jehovah." (Deuteronomy 6:4) The Israelites pray this day and night. The Israelites are the true people/nation of Jehovah God. Their belief system is the true worship that is approved and directed by Jehovah God Himself. They knew very well the truth that Jehovah God is only One Jehovah. They are even the ones who are the writer, the caretaker of his word the bible.
What they lack now is the faith on Jesus as the Missaiah, the Christ, the one given by God to be the savior. They fall short on putting faith on Jesus, in fact they are the ones who killed Jesus and consequently lost the backing of Jehovah God.
Even Jesus Christ is a faithful witness of Jehovah God. He is a Jehovah's Witness, a faithful one. (Read Rev 1:5) Jehovah is the God of Jesus and his Father, the same is true to us Jehovah's Witnesses, Jehovah is our God and our father and John 20:17 is clearly telling us this truth. Even this verse is telling us that Jesus is our brother not our god. This is consistent with matthew 12:50 and mark 3:35, Jesus said that his brothers are those doing the will of his father. Also Jesus said at John 4:23-24 that the true worshipper are those who worshipped his father, Jehovah God, worshiping in spirit and in truth. He did not said that the true worshipper are those worshipping him(Jesus) as God. Did he say that the true worshipper will worship him? In fact at John 17:3 Jesus said that the ONLY TRUE GOD is Jehovah. If Jesus is part of the true God, then Jesus is lying in this verse. But the real truth is that Jesus is the very first creation of Jehovah God, Rev. 3:14 says that Jesus is the beginning of the creation of Jehovah God and Col. 1:15 attested this truth, Jesus is the firstborn of all creation.

The question is this: "Is the Judgement Day already finished that is why righteous people who have died are already judged to be in heaven!? and those unrighteous/bad people are already already judged to be in hell!?
We can read at Acts 17:31 that "because Jehovah God has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man(Jesus Christ) whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.” And this verse John 5:22 said that "For the Father judges no man, but has committed all judgment to the Son." Answer these questions: When did Jesus pronounced his judgment to the dead person, and how? Why there is going to be a resurrection for the just and the unjust as what Acts 24:15 said if dead people are already in heaven or hell? Does resurrection mean that those who are in heaven will go down here on earth during resurrection? And how about to those unrighteous people who are in hell? Do they will ascend from hell during resurrection?

I was christened as a child but my parents divorced and both then became JW and remarrying someone else. i left the JW when i was around 17 and pretty much my dad stopped talking and I am not 45. nevertheless i no longer believing in God and was borderline athiest. about 10 years ago or even more i started a journey to see if I could find God - naturally as an ExJW i wouldnt even consider the Catholic church although my family except for my parents were. i then met this wonderful woman and we started talking about the Catholic Church and i had it all wrong in my head and i started thr rcia classes and i was later confirmed. it has been a heck of a journey and i know that this is where i belong. later than woman became my wife.

The question is this: "Is the Judgement Day already finished that is why righteous people who have died are already judged to be in heaven!? and those unrighteous/bad people are already judged to be in hell!?

He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.” And in this verse John 5:22 Jesus said that "For the Father judges no man, but has committed all judgment to the Son." Answer these questions: When did Jesus pronounced his judgment to the dead person, and how? Why there is going to be a resurrection for the just and the unjust as what Acts 24:15 said if dead people are already in heaven or hell? Does resurrection mean that those who are in heaven will go down here on earth during resurrection? And how about to those unrighteous people who are in hell? Do they will ascend from hell during resurrection?

WHY DO THEY HATE THE CATHOLIC CHURCH?
The Catholic Church is attacked by 40000 man-made contradicting sects which in themselves are attacking each others' faith. Their founders and pastors all proclaimed to be guided by the Holy Spirit when they read the Bible, interpret it based on their personal understanding and claimed that they are the true Church. HOW MANY HOLY SPIRIT GUIDING THESE PROTESTANTS? 40000?
Historically, the Bible was collected, selected, compiled and canonized by the Holy Catholic Church in the 4th century, that is about 1,200 years before protestantism started.
IF PROTESTANTISM IS TRUE, there should be ONE UNITED PROTESTANT CHURCH since Christ founded only one Church in Matthew 16:18, and not 40000 conflicting denominations.
"Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you ALL SPEAK THE SAME THING, and that there be NO SCHISMS AMONG YOU; but that you be perfect in THE SAME MIND, AND IN THE SAME JUDGMENT.
