About this, between Kai and Lay it is really hard to pick a definite no.1 and I would say between those 2 it comes down to taste, because they are both so insanely good!
I think it was Kai who said about DO that he could be a lot better dancer if he wanted to. D.O just has no ambition to be a dancer, but he learnt to tap dance in about half a year to a very high level for a movie role.
That just goes to show how much of a BOSS DO is lol and I agree with you, It really does come down to taste because both of them are incredible!
DO is just that one guy that can be good at everything - but has a definite goal for only few things

Baekhyun has improved his dancing a lot since clips in this video. Check out the EXO-CBX dance practice for the song “Blooming Day”. The dance for that song is difficult but Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin kill it! IMO Chanyeol has always been a little challenged at dancing but he has so much talent in every other aspect of music the dancing thing is only fair!
I will have to check Baekhyun's more recent clips and honestly no disrespect to Chanyeol or his dancing he is super talented!
I love Baekyun's hip movements, nobody has the plasticity in that area like him, and Chanyeol has also improved a lot in the dance, in fact he knows that it is his weak point and he works hard to improve
D.O. has good basic dance skills and good isolation. In EXO, he is the second best dancer after Ray and Kai. You can watch D.O.'s dance fancam or EXO's dance fancam. This is what a dance expert said. I also used to be a member of the dance break in EXO K. I can tell from the EXO history dance video.
kai is definitely the one known and celebrated the mist as the main dancer and performer.
D.O.'s nonchalance while dancing will always be the best kind of dance for me. He knows he is nailing it. It' s a subtle way of saying, I'll dance base on my mood. Deal with it. HAHAHAHA
Kai and Lay are both equally amazing and it just depends on perspective and preference. Personally, I think Lay is just beyond amazing. He has so much range and variety in his dance. He can go from powerful to fluid and he has mastered all different types of dances so well that he doesn't even have a specialty anymore. He just does it all! Even vocally, one of the most well-rounded artists out there.

I don't think Suho is better than Chen. Chen has improved his dance a lot recently. Chen is even a better stage performer than Kyungsoo lol though Kyungsoo is the better dancer in my opinion.

@@akilinshinomori2248 well, opinion varies and i respect that! Definitely Lay is an amazing dancer too! I can understand if you prefer freestyle,hip hop or street style, Lay Excels in it hats off! But what makes kai best to me is his talented varsetality. Those who are trained in contemporary genres like ballet or jazz, they admit that It's quite impossible for them to dance other genres but kai is someone who despite of being trained in ballet since early age,learned to master every other genres and he can pull all of them effortlessly and amazingly too! plus his passion, emotion and expressions are just cherries on top! And also he was the only person who made me learn how to FEEL dancing, not just WATCH them! These are the reasons he is and always will be best for me! 🤗❤

Omg wasn't expecting this reaction but I love it!! Just a little fact, like Chanyeol, Chen was also once considered one of the worst dancers in EXO, and they used to make fun of him for it a lot too, but somewhere around Lucky One (the song with them dancing in those blue leather trousers!) he started really working on his dance and now he's honestly improved so much and I'm so proud of him :')

Kai is the best dancer out of EXO and not only EXO but in all kpop, he's practically worshipped in the industry for his performance and dancing, and basically every idol had said they want to be like him, and that he's their role model that's why one of his nicknames its Idol's idol, also another nickname is GODKAI not only for his dancing but for everything he does really successful like his modeling career not everyone can be Gucci Global Ambassador, and he's just so down to earth, but back to the topic everyone in EXO its a really good dancer (Kai being the exception) so its really hard to pick between who's better or worse and more for us who watched them since the beginning and how much they worked and improved in every aspect, I just love them a lot!

D.o is one of the dance line in their early area but now he is focus on his acting and singing so he has no time to parasitic well becuse of his busy schedule but he try his best
Xiumin and Lay angles in 'Lucky One' (blue suits) are so extra accurate compared to everyone else.
To be very honest, Exo is one of those groups that took me two or three years after their debut to really get into their performances. I liked their songs here and there, but the performances didn't quite hit the spot. And Exo-M was always a bit more synchronized than Exo-K back in the days ^^; They have improved a lot and shown why they are where they are today.

Kai should be the 1st on the list but of course that list is made based on the opinions of the person that made it..Even though Lay is a crazy good dancer, Kai is on another level mainly because he can do a lot of different styles like ballet contemporary hip hop etc..also he conveys so much emotion through his dancing and his facial expressions.. also he literally was the person who changed the kpop dance scene by bringing comtemporary style to kpop which is now widely used in kpop by many good dancers that is why Kai is known as the idols' idol, his contribution to the kpop is not something to be underrated..also I think Suho should be higher on the list but this one is my personal opinion..

When he was still a trainee, Lay used to train (dance) with sand bags around his waist, to improve his moves speed, he thought that he is to slow 😳 that's why he has serious back pains often. Respect to the video owner for ranking Lay on top, he is really the best, but I am not sure if not Xiumin is number 3, you have to watch him closely, he is even sexier than Kai, more natural and relaxed. In other words, Kai is like a slap in the face, Xiumin is like a sweet, quick breeze 😉

I do agree that Lay is probably the better dancer but their strengths lie elsewhere, Kai is the best at contemporary, jazz and lyrical style pieces and Lay can’t beat him at that but Kai could never beat Lay at more hip hop styles like popping or crumping, they are both extremely good.
When you talk about Suho should be vampire if there are twilight kpop ver, it suddenly reminded me a couple days ago I had watched Xiumin and Suho fancam everyone was commenting vampire Xiumin and King/Disney prince Suho lol Since Xiumin face doesnt age and Suho face really looks like some kind of prince

We all know that it was unfair that they didn't show Kai's solo perfomrances but showed Lay's performance. I honestly still believe Kai is wayyyyy better than Lay. When kai dances it shows his love, dedication to dancing and the art of dancing. Also he is really good at ballet, the man is just a talrnted king tbh.

Each member has a strong appeal on their own dancing. Chanyeol, Chen and Suho were told to be the weakest link in dancing but they have improved most specially Chen.
Funfact: Chanyeol has a nickname of 3 minutes and 1 second from their hit song Growl. Just check the MV and you will understand.

@@kim-wh1th ah, that's why in Exploration in Indonesia they both are the most visibly restless members. Their tiredness is very visible even Aerinas (Indonesian EXO-Ls) can see Baek is unhealthy and pale. Sehun did mention they were sleepless tho because they were busy preparing for Obsession comeback. But thanks to Aerinas who were attending there, they did a very good job by sang along all EXO's songs with EXO throughout the concert and the members are all happy.
The thing about yixing (lay) is he is so good at making dances look so smooth and easy but when u try it you look like a noodle. But when he goes hard, he goes HARD. I love his dancing style the best

Of coarse rhythm and flexibility is a good thing to have if you are a dancer or have the desire to become one, but tall people tend to have more difficulty with dancing. I’m not saying that people who are tall can’t dance because trust me they can! Chanyeol is the tallest member of Exo!
