- The 2025 Chevy El Camino is charging back into the spotlight, merging classic allure with groundbreaking hybrid technology.
One of the industry’s most unique vehicles, where classic design meets modern innovation, is making a comeback, and we are excited to witness it on roads soon! - บันเทิง
There you go, they are showing the old ones more than the new one!🤗🇵🇷
not much content for the new one yet
@@TechDriveTV There isn't going to be "a new one" at all!
Well the old ones were the good ones
If it's a fact that they're putting out this vehicle they need to put a supercharged version of it out V8 an SS model too that'll probably help the sales more than the V6 would.
i agree. that would be cool
I’m a Mopar guy but I have always liked the El Camino . The two door rig looks pretty cool to me , I hope they make them !
Chevy Should Resurrect The Malibu SS Coupe with A Small Block 327.
"Should" is what we'd like under ideal circumstances. Reality is there's only a niche market for something like that, so to make it profitable, the car would have to be outrageously priced which in turn would limit it more. They know that, and it will not be produced. I've seen a '35 Malibu coupe here on YT that's a faithful re-creation to the 1970 model from the front and back, but using the existing Camaro body. It was a forest green. But no, it'll never be produced, so enjoy the pictures.
I'll believe it when I see it at the Dealer !!!
You lost me at "hybrid"
Ahh S.
Hey it's better then improperly made Electric cars we have now days
@@mccrackenphillipI know, I have a low opinion of anything hybrid or EV.
My brother in law still has his 71 El Camino from high school. I love the swivel seats.
Had to add that after hearing it has a turbo 4 cylinder engine I’m out. A 4 cylinder? Might see if I could install a supercharged V8 before I buy one.
Imagine not having a V8 for power if one put a small goose neck hitch in the bed to pull a single car trailer to somewhere or trailer for a hobby farm as well as take your lady to eat or even a simple ice cream just to get out of the house and hang out with others. Like one did when these came out in G.M. and G.M.C. versions. I do know a guy with a 70 4 speed 454 LS 5 that ran like 🦨! Up in smoke was easy with a light rear. Always wanted to put a same generation Pontiac Lemans front clip with a T/A shaker on a small 8 engine on a El Camino cab and bed. Mini tub it and if bucks up a half size blower / supercharger on a 305,350, 383, 406 small block with a easy to see over it bug eyed single carb hat scoop look instead of the T/A look would be a Kool Kustom . Fun to dream if only i had some Leno Bucks .
Funny part about that. The turbo Four cylinder svo mustang Would outrun out handle a 302. And it wasn't the turbo Technology of today. What's really gonna blow your mind, Bacon is delicious on a peanut butter sandwich.
I've always been a fan of the El Camino...ever since my uncle brought home his brand new 1972 El Camino SS with the 454cid! The 1970 SS was the epitome of the model's existence...it had the maximum HP before the de-tuning of all the brand's performance vehicles...thanks to the 'energy crisis' that struck post-1970. It always seemed to be a love it-or-hate it vehicle...the hater's had no taste IMHO. If this is brought to fruition, it'll be interesting to see if this new generation can or will be accepted...
It won’t make a comeback how about the GMC Sprint every time they resurect a retired nameplate they never get it right just leave it alone give it somedignity maybe
I had a new 1987 ss . 305 4 bbl rear factory air shocks. It was sweet.
When you Get Older,
You Don't Need a Back Seat.
You need a Car to Carry Stuff.
Not the Kid's...❤it
6.2 engine it sell like hot cakes
That would be nice!
Camaro coming back as a truck! (Awsome)
I think it's great if the El Camino makes a comeback , But from what I heard in 2023 it was going to be a newer version of the legendary iconic 1970 El Camino , In this video the front of the El Camino looks like it has a twist of the newer Camaro & Newer Pickup that's already out , I believe there would be more sales if it had the looks of the 1970. El Camino.
To say it all, it would be an Australian import if the El Camino would make a comeback in the 2000s.
I love how you slip the picture of the raptor in there... Oops
I won't believe that it won't be Front-Wheel-Drive until I see one made. And if it is, then I won't want one.Signed-Richard.
Govt Motors will be lucky to sell 2 if it actually comes out.
Government is right. GM saved America in WW 2
@it1988a…I’ll buy 2.
Ford took a gubmint bail out long before GM
Sounds great knowing GM they'll muck it up some how ,
It would be great keeping the same look and style keep the length of the bed same just give it modern feathers another type of a copo
If its not a two door its not an El Camino
Maybe your great grandkids disagree.
What’s with all the 4 doors
Well yes. This video seems purposely done to confuse (us) to not know what's going on, intentionally, because there is no El Camino forthcoming at all.
I’m ready to be impressed . I love American cars , I have a soft spot for Chevys . Best idea I heard in long while .🇺🇸💪
Where's the AWOL GM CEO ???
She sure screw everything up like Sloppy-Joe Biden !!!
😣😤😡
Needs to be a V8 turbo charged monster, not a 4 banger/electric suck truck
Mr. B. Here ! 🍩🍩☕️😎👀👍 Talk talk talk , I stop wait , my wife for my 70th birthday 1976 GMC Sprint ; love it ! Also stop calling it car truck , it is a lite duty pick-up . Talk talk talk ! ! !
Maybe Ford will get back on stage and bring back the Ranchchero and Dodge ?? And does anybody recall the Subaru Brat with the out board rear facing bucket seat console
That would have been long ass time ago as another Australian import, the El Camino would be an Australian import also.
The proofs in the pudding!
Beautiful vehicle with the quality and realiability and de seal chevrolet
I like the El Camino that your showing pictures of.
Good looking concept
I like it very much however in any performance configuration, a mid size pickup is going to trunk this misfit. Unless you can keep it under 30k base. JMHO
don’t know where ya got your information, but GM denies this vehicle is on its drawing boards
Aussie OI Oi Holden design lead ... great car
A 12 minute infomercial. Could have been 6 if they had just stuck to the facts.
make your own video
@@TechDriveTV I'll watch Scotty Kilmer's.
Please don't forget to have a rear wheel drive option front wheel drive option for the opportunity to get it done I haven't seen production model vehicle with either configuration it would be interested in it because that is what we pay for right.
If it is priced like the rest of your pickups, it will not sell!
Let’s Roll
Great looking car, at 50K a pop for each one, I hope they can hold back the rust, better that their early 2000 models. Which are unbelievably bad!
All GM is doing from what I gather Is takin the discontinued Camaro drive train in parts. Which probably are the 3.6 V6 & 9 speed. And then next possibly a 5.3 V8 from the truck line for the SS. But the SS, I guess will be AWD.
And then after the first introduction models have sold. Then down size the whole EL Camino at the end of its production to a Hybrid 2.0 4 cyl turbo.. If true. Then get the SS!
it's not an El Camino. it's a "Ute".
Sure, you can take this to the bank.
So is it a four door or a two door ?
Two Door
Chevy already has this truck on the lot. It’s called “Colorado”.
So, Chevrolet is offering 3 different models of the same vehicle, powered by the best V-6 they've made, a powerful V-8, and a hybrid power plant. It sounds like they are trying to cover all their bases.
🥰 I love it 🥰
Looks like a Camaro with a small pickup bed. Left over parts from the Camaro parts ben, one way to get rid of access parts.
Chevrolet is going in the wrong direction with its drive train. 😢😢
Does it come with a camper shell? . . . 🤔
They need to offer it with all the choices they gave with the Camero. V6 3.6? NO.
Use the 4.3 vortec V6 with a super charger and an LS6 V8 super charged for hi po.
why doesn't GM get smart and come out with a 57 chevy belair with a modern drive train and interior. they would sell millions the first year. i would be one of them.
Camaro with a truck bed and a corvette motor awd and tech'd tf out
It needs more horsepower…. If I could build my own … it would have a hellcat drive train or scat pack … or the zo6 drive train… with 4x4 not the all wheel drive… you need just 2 wheel drive most of the time… less wear on the 4x4 system that way…
They will rot in the lot!
It's another bomb by GM.
Make it stick shift!!!!
If it does come out it will flop. To me it's just another 4 door pickup truck that looks like all the other vehicles. If these car companies want to sell new versions of old vehicles they should make them look like the originals. So no I'm not impressed with just another pickup
I bet if you hit a deer, there will be nothing left
What's costs???
I'd buy one, but it has to be gas and have a stick shift option
I have one already; it's called a Honda Ridgeline RTL. Chevy will have a long way to go to compete with Honda!
That's gone be a bad M.F
It needs to look like the 70. Not like a dam kia
👍
Won't want until review from drivers
I don't think it's real, Just Fake Click News Bait!
Totally! Just like all the other b.s. "coming soon" Chevy model videos. Probably (would) sell for $70k---------no thank you, and no sale.
I like it 😅😅❤❤❤
It's going to be a flop! Where's the V8?
My zippy 1981 El Camino Conquista, in silver and midnight blue, with navy interior, had a small V8 (267), and an automatic transmission. It had a bed, which I measured at 79.5", that would be much longer than what they are offering on the new version. You could easily lie down in the bed which we did to star gaze. In addition, it had an air shock system that would adjust the bed to the load. It was easy to park, and drove like a dream, especially on long road trips. It hauled many a load, and I miss the versatility of it. Lost it to a tornado in 1992.
in the SS
At Texas Speed…😂
Wait, someone said GM is going Bankrupt????
Good News gM is due for a government handout like always
@@bradzimmerman3171 no money for US businesses all going overseas to payoff ONE WORLD ORDER CONTROLLERS.
Lets hope they make a body style that can be adapted to different drive trains. 4-6-8- cylinder 2 wheel drive or all wheel drive with 4-5-9 speed as well as a manual transmission option with a look of the El Camino , Camaro or any other look as long as it does not look like PICK UP TRUCK to maybe small truck look for the 4x4 is of no concern as long as they make a car front end look as well would make nice sales. If G.M. wants to make them electric then fine and we will see if that sales or not. just please make the products look different instead of the one size fits all and you can not tell the difference even between brands like pick up trucks of different trim levels the only difference. They will sell well like before but customers want at times different plastic chrome for options alone.
Agreed!
468 is the 80's Cadillac engine. 😂
@@ralphnadler3825 Also a 0.60 over 454. Now we a talking Hell Camino! LSX 454 would be Kool as well. 4-6-8 Caddy shake engine failed with that slow pac-man computer.
El Camino no a UTE from Australia. Holden Ute. 4 cyl hybrid?
Leave it deceased or do it right.
All it needs is right hand drive.
Rear wheel drive, posi, turbo charged V8 limited edition 600 hp
Not even full size
If anything it's a cross between a Dodge rambler and a cyber truck.
How about the make an affordable and reliable vehicle.
Seem i recall a 53 model ? they came out with and it didn't sale to good. I believe it would have did better with a extended cab or crew cab. Almost as many women driving trucks as men are. The station wagon is a crew cab or SUV. If you're married the tag, says moms taxi. If you are divorced it says, Was His.😉 Joking he just payed for it.
A smooth-talking Salesman ! 🤔
Just kidding 😂
just the opposite ! ↩️
And what is the ridiculous price tag
for this ? 🏷 💵
Needs a v8 option or else it will be fail.
You can bet your ass it WON'T BE A V-8 ! Have you ever heard of CAFE Corporate Average Fuel Economy ?? The MOST you can hope for is a V-6 with a turbo.
That is a 4.3L LV3 V6 Turbo with about 335 HP ! !
I like the 2 door but not the 2.0
The original Ford ranchero's, and the Chevy El Camino's were ALL 2 door vehicles. IF there is to be a sort of 'reissue' of this class/type of vehicles, in my way of thinking, they should be brought out first as 2 doors. For my wife and I would only buy a 2 door reissue. If somebody wants or needs a four door vehicle with a small bed, take your pick of the compacts that are out, and the others that will be out soon. But something tells me the automotive brain trusts will find a way to turn them all into 4 door weenie mobiles...
V6 .. SS meaning =all wheel drive, the Corvette began selling, when a V8 was installed under the HOOD. CHEVROLET listen to us.
Just a different pickup ! But still a pickup !!!
Show us what is going to actually look like 😂
Just speculation not real information as this is just to get people to play this video
Chevy "hey let's bring back the El Camino and ruin that too" pass keep it
They already f'd it up talking about a 5 seater, and possibly a 4 door. I bet it will end up looking like everything else GM makes. They unalived alot of nameplates over the years and they should leave them on the shelf cause they will never build anything to live up to those vehicles that carried those names. JMO
Not going to happen they can't get this car out in 2025 even if this was real. The closest thing Chevy has is the Montana for a small truck and it's already in production in other markets.
Why?
# 9999 x 9999 🎉
So? There no vehicle. Only drawing
hillbillymark here from ontario canada- we could not get a elcamino after the 1982 model year here as i tried not in canada so f off with your opinion
More lies from GM and/or their shills. On the back cover of one of the May/June car magazines, is an ad from GM stating Pontiac is coming back! Yeah, right.
STOP SHOWING OTHER CARS and other junk keep on task!
Anyway they don't look too bad assuming they are actually built.
Hybrid is ok at least its not the update needed to electric EVs i mean come on regenerative braking can only go so far solar helper device or panel would help that.
note hybrid automotive student pre Covic my self.
2025? No way. Who says and it is all artists conceptions...no reality. 2025 model year is only months away...too soon if at all. Close as you are likely to get is a Mexican made Chevy Tornado...a tiny compact El Camino type car.
Looking ok but all wheel drive? Subaru. Elcamino/ss camino v8 only 5.7 or a big block 572, 632 6,spd ,4l80 mod . SS sport Muscle . Don’t Muck it up with wussy crap . Disrespect the name.
Is this a Hyundai???
Show the actual vehicle otherwise I say poor information given.
No body wonts a elc El Camino 😂
I despise all the nasty wireless technology added to cars
Why are you showing vehicles other than the El Camino on this video when it's all about the El Camino? I saw a Tesla and a Ford? Why? What do they have to do with the El Camino? Nothing. Not only that, but all of these different variations seem to be some designers' renditions and don't have anything to do with the actual design that Chevy is planning to use.
I doubt this vehicle will make production.
Another priced car never was into them anyway
I'd love to be able to buy a new El Camino here in the USA. Just please keep it 2 door. Nobody wants to see a fugly 4 door.
Doesnt have a rumbler and is loaded with connectivity b/s nah thanksxanyway i would rather have a 70's beast. It would stolen in about 4 daysxin canada
You'll never see it. GM'S Too stupid to build vehicles people actually want.
