@Experience JAPAN fun fact. In English the word RAPID means fast. It's almost the same spelling. I really like how your country is so innovative. The luggage locking is a brilliant things as is vending machines. Our train that takes me to our major city is 50 minutes long. It's dirty, no bathrooms, AND more expensive. The windows are foggy or scratched. People here do not take pride in things that aren't their own. Many people damage things and ruin it for the rest of us.

I had the pleasure of taking Nankai’s rapi:t for my first trip to Osaka just a little over a week ago. It was a pleasant surprise for its comfort and welcoming atmosphere. I took many different trains during the trip, but this ranks among the best trains I’ve taken. I’m already reliving the memories, so that’s saying something 😉

The rotating seats are brilliant. The front of the train definitely looks like a robot face. I'm amazed at how clean they keep the train. It gets cleaned after each 34 minute journey? That's remarkable.

I see people in your videos wearing masks outdoors as well and I'm wondering if that's a requirement or a personal choice. I completely see the need for them indoors with so many people of course, though.

I'm still astounded at how gates don't even have their doors closed and they completely trust people to not run the gate. Of course, I bet there's a system where if it detects someone without receiving a ticket, it'll close the gate, but it is still more abusable than anywhere else in the world.

"Then they came to Jericho. As Jesus and his disciples, along with a large crowd, were leaving the city, Timaeus ' son Bartimaeus, who was blind, was sitting by the wayside begging for alms. When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!"(Mark 10: 46-47)
Would Bartimaeus, a blind man, have been healed by Jesus if he had just sat in silence when Jesus passed by?
Would Jesus have stopped, turned to him and touched him?
    Maybe.
But there were many blind people there at the time of Jesus ' earthly ministry.
There were a lot of deaf people.
    There were many lepers.
There were a lot of people with all kinds of physical problems.
But Jesus didn't heal all these people, did he?
In fact, we usually find in Scripture that Jesus responded to people who called out to him.
In the case of Bartimaeus, he cried out and his voice was heard.
It probably helped a lot that he screamed.
We don't necessarily need to shout in our prayers, but we do need to be persistent.
    What is your need today?
Need a touch on your body, as Bartimaeus did?
    Then call for Jesus.
Do you have a child who needs healing?
    Does your marriage need help?
    Call for Jesus.
And don't give up if the answer doesn't come soon.
Jesus said, " Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks, receives; he who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened" (Matthew 7:7-8).
When Jesus stopped to restore Bartimaeus ' sight, he was on his way to the cross.
I was on my way to die for the sins of the world and for mine and yours.
Do you need God's forgiveness today?
    Then call for Jesus.
    Romans 10: 13 says:
"everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
