In the event that the roll pan starts to rust on the vertical seams, or underneath, seeing as how you guys didn't weld it. How do you plan on rectifying that since it is only a third of the way molded?
I'd guess that they will use seem sealer on it after they paint/undercoat the bottom side. Looks very nice. 😎 If it were mine I would used bedliner on the bottom, inside of the bed sides, the bed floor & side walls,... basically everywhere but the sides & new roll pan (except maybe the flat on top of it.)
I agree a seamless look is a lot cleaner, however if there were every any frame flex from torque twist or suspension articulation, it'd either pop those welds or put a nice wrinkle up the bedside due to both ends of the bedside now being rigid with the rest of the bed. Those open corners allow some flex without twisting the bedsides, unfortunately.
Should of used weld through primer on bed and back of rollpan. Now you have bare steel behind the rollpan. Anywhere you over lap bare steel youre asking for rust.
Jesus, everybody has something to complain about, right? 8 minute of some work and 10 of explanation, he talks too much. 10 minutes of all work with next to no explanation done via time lapse, it's boring. Next it'll be 15 minutes of work, 2 minutes of talking, no time lapse and one of you will still have something to say about how it's not good enough in some way.

@@quik92stang I've got a 2nd gen dually I bought from a salvage auction only for the 12v in it and whoever did the roll pan on it did it better then this one like it is flawlessly put on the truck shame that its on a dually and the bed has holes chopped in it from whoever owned it.
Roll pan, tow mirrors, led lights, skateboard wheels and a 4th gen bumper and now you have a second gen like everyone else on TH-cam, and every high school kid with a rich daddy. Guess I'm getting old but I'm just not a fan of the ricer look. And I hope you keep the front sport bumper?? Still love the other content though for what it's worth.

And I've seen every single one of Greg's trucks besides the first gen put in some work with a trailer.. isn't that what your guys' problem always is, that these "riced out" trucks were useless and couldn't go offroad or tow? Guarantee if a situation arose with either need, he'd do them without hesitation.. and contrary to your seemingly one track mind, those rubber band tires help a good bit with drag contributing to better fuel economy and a smoother, quieter ride due to less sidewall collapse for a smaller footprint profile rolling down the road, and help with handling a ton especially pulling a trailer, because they don't have giant sidewalls that can be pushed around with side loading near as easily when they're loaded down with the same sidewall collapse I was talking about further up.

But roll pans are USELESS! & my point still stands dont lift the truck if you worried about fuel economy..
I agree with every little think you said here. However, that is NOT what you said in the OP besides the roll pan issue. And yes they are useless beyond aesthetics.. in Greg's case that doesn't matter because everything he pulls is a goose/fifth wheel plate trailer.. unlike the dudes with 12" lifts that bumper pull becomes the only option and they have a functionally useless RP.
I Forgot to mention, yes we closed off the spare tire hole.... who needs a spare anyway right!?!

Should have used a weld through primer so back side doesn’t trap moister under the bed liner and start to rust, just causing headaches later

01Durango5.9R/T the gap is almost non existent though. If it does flex it will more than like wreck the bedside or the roll pan anyway
