The underside of my e36 is greatly simplified with a electric motor up front. No tank no fuel lines no exhaust no fuel pump. I still enjoy watching videos like this.
i now understand why E36s are cheap in America, 80% of them have just been destroyed by rust. In Australia a manual 6 cyl parts car goes for like 1250-2000usd but there is little to no rust in any of them (sure surface rust on the body and battery box), but nothing like what is in this video, this look insane. Great video though man!
@@ProblemSolverGarage seems great - I have a manual tranny and all the parts already out ... so I am more interested in taking out the auto, putting in the manual, and wiring!!
If im planning on taking the motor out from underneath do i still need to bother taking the intake off to get the the starter or can i just do it once the motors out? Also sick vid bless you for doing this love the work
Hey, I’m not too sure about removing the motor, never read the chapter on the motor removal. I suggest you get a manual and read it before you pull the motor.
What engine do you have? From what I remember you need to get the starter bolts out to remove the transmission. I can't remember anymore I would have to rewatch the video, that's what the manual says to do I know that on a six cylinder not a four-cylinder
@@ProblemSolverGarage i was doing this swap. and to keep asc working have to keep connected automatic gearbox control unit. but i wasnt able to make a cruise control working, and i dont know the reason. some people saying this is happens regarding automatic ecu firmware, some people say that this cause that the wires are connected as neutral or parking position, and cruise control cant be turned on while he thinks that the is on the parking. so if you got an ideas or solution, i would be happy to see it on your video. thanks and good luck!
I am taking the automatic transmission out in the next few days then I’m putting the manual transmission and if I figure it out I won’t talk about it in the video and I will let you know
I like this guy. No bs, no frills, no pointless rants about irrelevant crap. Just all business.
Thank you my friend

Yeah the way cars rust hair is insane
The perfect video. ❤❤❤
Thanks and thanks for watching
can you document removing the auto and putting in the manual without cuts. It would be so insanely helpful. Good luck with this project!
In the process of editing it now.
What did you think of the manual tranny Removal Video?
@@ProblemSolverGarage seems great - I have a manual tranny and all the parts already out ... so I am more interested in taking out the auto, putting in the manual, and wiring!!
The video is coming out soon
Great stuff. Much information

Wonder how much WD40 it takes to take apart an e36
Lol Thanks for watching, more episodes coming

My friend, I have a question, the cardan is the same one standard to the automatic transmission?
Cardan?
11:10 why do you have to remove the starter? Every video of pulling the transmission out for clutch replacement skips this step ????????

Hey boss I was wondering where can I get a new rubber boots for the shifter I can’t find them anywhere
Hey, not too sure maybe eBay
Do you still have those tail lights from your parts car?
Not selling any parts rn
👍👍
do you have to do anything else to let cruise control and ASC operational?
ASC I don’t think so, and I will figure out the traction control by the transmission Installation Video

Does this include the 323?
Yes, The four cylinders are easier because you don’t have to take the intake manifold off
I mention all this and all the videos it covers all models
@@ProblemSolverGarage fully sick mate can’t wait to gut mine out then ahaha, always good to double check. Def will be following this guide!!!
