Great video Yasmin. I've not been to Burnhope Reservoir even though its not too far away. Sorry I missed the premiere but I was having my own wander around Hawthorn Dene. Was that a little vole that ran along the bank at around 7:18. Lapwings are also called Peewits which I guess is because of their call.
Your the only one to have noticed that so far Andy! Yes it was 😁😁 well spotted it walked across so quick I did stand quietly and waited for about 10 mins close by to see if it came out again but it didn’t unfortunately. Would have loved to have got a photo of it. Thanks Andy hope you’ve had a good weekend

Always nice walks by reservoirs as unlike most of my walks they are always lovely and flat gentle walks! 😁😁 A lot of the ones I’ve been to are so nice and quiet compared to the Lake District for example and usually area of natural beauty or nature reserves. Thanks a lot 😁😁
Hello Yasmin! Another dreary day of adventure but regardless , it's still beautiful! The bench is Lola's favorite whenever we go out. The water looks like a sheet of black plastic! This place is not anywhere near to experience any drought, the water is soooo abundant!
Not sure if we have been there, if we have been it will be about 10 years ago with a walking group we used to go hiking with. Looked great and always nice to see or find a bench with a view and the more I saw of that walk the more I think we had done it, especially when I saw the stone walkway at the end. Not the best of weather but still a very nice walk, cheers Alan
I camped there a few years ago with Llama Annie, right on the shoreline near the top, the water level looks loads higher than last time I was there. It's a great wee reservoir & nice to see the changes a bit of time has made to the area. Thanks for sharing Yasmin X

Super relaxing walk and absolutely love listening to the birds. Its nice at the new home as we can hear lots of birds and its such a nice change. Such a nice walk. Hope you're keeping well mrs!
