If I could give this video 100 likes I would. I bought a pop socket today and my daughter broke it off in half. The store would not let me return it. Thanks a million for posting this video.
@@zanna8085 damn that's kind of crazy though, glad it was only an attempted one and not a successful one. Why did they have to downgrade the popsocket technology so if it comes off you feel like you got to buy a new one
This video just saved me probably at least $100 in having to buy a new case and pop socket because I can't live with out that lil kickstand haha THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! You are MY HERO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My kid was devastated when she “broke” his brand new Pokémon pop socket opening it up, with your video I was able to repair it for him, thank you so much for this video!
Thank you so much for this video. My niece was heartbroken that her new Christmas popsocket was broken. You saved the day, and I am now the favorite aunt!!! 🎉
My very first one the top never broke off but I replaced it because I wanted a different design … and now every other one I’ve gotten since then the top has popped off so this is very helpful thank you
Ok. This video was so needed and helpful to me! I have Lupus so it’s hard for me to use my hands BUT this tutorial saved my sanity. It took a few tries, but I finally did it. My hands and my mind thank you so very much. I was about to catch an Uber to go to the phone store, in the snow and in my wheelchair, to get it fixed or get a new one. Thank you so much❤❤❤
Just came here to say it took me almost 25 minutes and I was VERY VERY VERY close to rage quitting. Then what I did was gave it a last try to push the little piece inside the silicone while opening the hole with the pliers and more than half of it FINALLY got inside the silicone. I kept pushing the circular piece around and it finally got inside of the silicone. Thank you sir for this video
Thanks! Every other tutorial I found was for the old version, this version is much tougher to put back on. Fought with the pliers but I got it back on :)
My son pulled his off and I went straight to google to see if it was fixable and found your video. I however didn't have pliers but with some tools was able to stretch it out while my daughter put it in unfortunately it went completely inside but I was determined and finally got it back on. Thanks!
Thank you so much! I was trying to take my pop socket off of my phone case and this happened and I couldn’t figure out how to get it back on. Googled and you were one of the first videos. Thank you so much!
Thank you! I just got an enameled (read:expensive) popsocket just yesterday and caught it on the edge of a slide🙈 thanks to your video, I was able to fix it within a couple minutes using needlenosed pliers and a super thin allen wrench!
This was smooth. I was fighting it with a pick while the small dime sized disc was still attached to the base. Taking that off was the key and stretching the “rubber” with needle nosed pliers did the trick. Thanks.
Thank you so much! This was exactly what I needed! My pop socket fell of when I was in a hurry, and I couldn't put it back. It was a gift of one of my students, so I was quite sad....thanks to you, I'm happy again and my phone looks fantastic again :-)

Thank you! All the other videos had the old popsocket. I knew I had to get that little circle piece into the rubbery part but I couldn’t figure out how. So helpful to see you do it because I was nervous that stretching would cause a rip! Used curved tipped tweezers and it’s like new.

i was souring the internet on where to buy a new popsocket because i didn’t think it would be fixable, thank you a million times for this video, the popsocket i originally bought was discontinued and i was heartbroken until seeing this video. thank you so much
Okay so I had none of the tools you did, however I was still able to use this video to figure out how to fix it with the common tools I had! I used a nail clipper, tweezers and a crochet hook with a thick handle. I used the nail clippers to pull the connector piece out of the sticky piece. Then I used the tweezers to spread the hole open and the fat end of the crochet hook to keep it propped open. Then I just pushed the connector piece down towards myself into the hole, not letting go till the hole was fully over the lip! Thankfully the sticky piece was still on my phone so I didn't have to worry about getting more sticky stuff!
