They sure make nice well thought out heavy machines at JD just wondering if you ever got the mandrel set up and how it's working out for you.

Jon buddy, did they really tell you that you can run a mandrel on that thing? I dont see how because you need a wiper die to go with it, the wiper die stops the wrinkiling. I had a mandrel bender and now im looking into this one here I may get. Ive the basic model 3 right now

they did not say that, I talked to a tool manufacturer that specializes in mandrel bending and said they will make the wiper, and other items to get it going

If thats the case I would like to see what they come up with for you, that would be awesome. My 3" die for bending steel and stainless consisted of two mandrels(bronze for SS and chrome for S and AL), 2 different material wiper dies, a 3" bend die and a 3" clamp die and it was $5k :(
