    You really got to give it to CG, they can do balancing fairly well. Some super old teams like CLS are still good, or where basically completely absorbed into other teams, while the vast majority of older characters in MSF are basically useless in most gamemodes

    So here are my concerns on glyphs:
    1) Using normal energy to acquire them. This takes away from our necessary shard and gear farms.
    2) Gold crunch. The amount of available gold is just in the difficult range when taking toons to g8. G9/10 is too expensive already. They NEED to increase gold supply to compensate for mods.
    3) "Rebalancing" speed. They need to accept that so long as you can increase speed by 1, there WILL be a speed meta, or remove all speed. One or the other. Don't rebalance it, because they'd be stealing the value the whales paid for and F2P spent months grinding for.
    4) Mod levels are locked ro gear levels, but g9 and 10 are effectively behind a pay wall. F2P needs to sacrifice a week of energy refreshes to take 1 toon from g8 to g9, and a month to go from g9 to g10. That's just not feasible at this stage of the game.
    5) The challenge store still sucks. The ratios are about right in the store now, but we still need the increased income of challenge currency. This has been an issue since day 1, and should thus be the highest priority for them to fix.
    How can CG fix this? New game mode similar to Galactic War. You can get a mod, some gold, and some challenge currency in each chest, scaling up as you get further into the day's runs. This could solve the gold, challenge store, and normal energy issues. Make all gear farmable. If gear is in the game, it should be farmable. Making us pay gems for it is effectively a pay wall. Whales will still get things faster than F2P which is why they'd keep shelling out the cash. Finally, either accept the speed meta or don't put speed on the mods. Either option works. There's nothing wrong with a speed meta so long as we're all honest about it. Don't pull this bs telling JEEPs that the speed won't have a dramatic effect. Of course it will. If I can make my Ugluk go before yours, I get my blind off guaranteed on the first turn. Even 1 speed will make a speed meta. Just accept it or don't do it.
    Until they can seriously address these, the game isn't ready for glyphs. They could reduce the effect of the g9/10 paywall by implementing the arena changes they've talked about, but honestly, i was consistent top 50 in my GoH arena shard as a F2P, and I started in the first week of the game. I was also at the top 1-3 on my ship shard. We CAN hang with the whales with good resource management, but only if the devs don't actively screw us over.

    If MSF had marquee events they’d lose so much money since the character’s gear levels aren’t gated by their star level. You can get a decent way through a lot of the content with 3 star characters since you can still gear them right up.
    Sounds like some MSF to HOME players might be forgetting that

    At least 20k players quit day ahnald made the video saying it's trash it was tracked with log ins unless a coincidence

    I play both swogh and msf and I'm not at all worried about glyphs. Glyphs seem to be closer to the iso system which is easier than mods.

    MSF was in a bad place when HoME came out, which will probably explain why there is a lot of MSFers playing HoME. The chance to start a new game v going to an old game like SWGOH can't be ruled out either.
    Thankfully, MSF is now in a better place ... stability issues aside.
