Loose leash walking practice

Practicing loose leash walking with Silas. First we use his head harness, which allows the handler greater control over the dog, and then we switch to just his collar. I left the head harness on as a gentle reminder to continue good walking practices. Eventually the head harness will be phased out completely, or that is the hope.

His trainer says when he starts to pull, change your direction quickly, so not only do they not get to investigate what they're pulling toward, but it makes his attention come back on you.
