Crazy these boxes were like $130 CAD at release
I was going to get a series two box for Johnston, but the price already went up 😂
I can find it for $100 Canadian plus taxes so not too bad.
It goes up when Zeerees watchers start buying it like crazy after watching his vid.😅 It'll go down again..

I used to break but I'd always be getting boxes like the second one. So I quit and just watch other people break, especially Zeeree cause he's the most entertaining
Smart. If you collect memorabilia of a certain team, it's cool to buy a box with your fave team on it, and just leave it on display and don't open it. Unless of course it's loaded with redemptions like 2021-22 SP Authentic etc. I wanted that one for display, but Seider and Raymond are redemptions...
The Freestyles was the wildcard (hit) of the 2nd box

Box 2 was a blaster hidden in a hobby box lol
I'm surprised that someone who's ripped so many UD Hobby boxes doesn't realize a Pink Dazzler is a case hit lmao
It's funny because I cracked open a pair of 22-23 series 2 last night. At my LCS they were on sale as well. Absolutely can't beat that. Reminds me of when 05-06 series 2 was dirt cheap and you could pull an Ovie YG for $80

Where do you find the stats on box break averages? Also you mentioned that there are no jersey insert cards, when did they stop doing those?
I pulled an Elias POP 50. Not sure what it would fetch but it's a nice card for the pc.
My LCS still has 22-23 Extended at $110USD a box. I guess it's cheaper than epack. Flagship hockey on epack will outlive planet earth.
I busted 9 hobby boxes of this at about $80USD a pop. Awful. Got almost all the good YG's but only one good canvas YG - Boldy. But that's it. There's nothing else in these. The gold parallel inserts are the worst.
Here is a question - which is better 22-23 series 1 retail or hobby box? At my LCS a retail box is $79CDN right now while hobby is on sale for $99CDN.
No clear cut, exclusives or high gloss in retail. Spend the extra $20 imo.
@joedill4311 thanks! I had been under the impression that high gloss was also in retail so it was a little more attractive. But if that's not the case then it probably ia worth the extra $20.
@@redgreen66 i COULD be wrong.....but I've seen a ton opened in person and on youtube and never seen one pulled. So, if they are in retail, the odds have to be equivalent of hitting the lottery! 🤣
Go for hobby unless you can find retail for way cheaper is typically the rule of thumb

I got a few series 1 for $80cdn and series 2 for $100cdn .. that’s the cheapest I can find in Canada..
In USD, you ordered from a US supplier. Taking a risk on the border tax. Usually more than the item you bought is worth!

@@CarrieFlattsFan13 I think it probably would depend on the law of each state. But yeah, you could be right. I know I got hit with it a couple times. Ordered a $10 piece of clothing and got dinged for $60 tariff. Sufficed to say I refused to pay and lost my initial purchase amount. Haven't ordered from the states since..... yesterday. lol First time in years. But I couldn't find a specific box of hockey cards anywhere else. Taking the chance, hoping not to get hit with the tariff again.

When I see UD hockey box at Walmart, cheap. For me it's hard to pass up

With the diluted young gun crop these boxes will hold 0 long term value and since they printed so much it's just gonna sit around sealed for years upon years

My LCS: $129.99 + tax for Synergy
What does that mean? They're two totally different products
@@davismavis2834 Synergy is normally less than series 1 , so at zeeree prices, it should be $50. The most recent series 1 price here was basically the same, $129.99., but there wasn’t any to compare with now. The point is, nothing is worth it at retail price unless you’re zeeree and get the deals , it’s all a joke 🤷🏼♂️
What year of Synergy? but yeah, really should preorder any product that has a top rookie. I paid $96cdn for a few boxes of 23-24 o pee chee, a bunch of 23-24 UD tins for $70, and blasters for $30....and I just watch them go up...😂 💰
