CRIN3 Dodge Cummins 6.7 DzlTest Rebuilt and Calibrated Injector Test

  • We test a 2013 Dodge Cummins 6.7 injector that we rebuilt and calibrated in house. I call it a CRIN2, but it is actually a CRIN3. This video is part of our training series, but it may contain some useful information for you.
    Injectors are tested at varying pressures and with varying pulse widths. The spectrum of the testing is designed to evaluate the operational flow characteristics compared to OEM specifications. The testing represents the operation of the injector from starting the engine to wide open throttle, and all areas under the curve including idle and pilot injection events.
    We measure flow in uL, or micro-liters/mm3, where a single drop of water equates to 50 uL, pressure is measured in mega-Pascals and calibration settings for building the injector are in microns. Finally the pulse width is in microseconds. This is quite a precision scientific operation, in a world that is made of rubber!

      @@wanderingvagabond1300 I have to make shafts first, just finished 6.7 and Dmax shafts, 5.9 parts are next. Might be a little while though, please check back.
