Director KRISHNA VAMSI Powerful Interview | Real Talk With Anji #113 | Film Tree.
Pasupuleti Venkata Bangarraju, know professionally as Krishna Vamsi, is an Indian film director, producer and choreographer known for his work in Telugu cinema. Vamsi started his career as an assistant director to Ram Gopal Varma. He made his directorial debut with the 1995 crime film Gulabi, starring J. D. Chakravarthi. He has received two National Film Awards, three Filmfare Awards South and four Nandi Awards.
In 1996, he directed the film Ninne Pelladata, one of the highest grossing Telugu films of the time. He subsequently directed the critically acclaimed crime film, Sindhooram under his production house Andhra Talkies; both the films won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu. In 2002, he ventured into Bollywood with Shakti: The Power, a remake of his own 1998 Telugu cult classic Antahpuram.
Krishna Vamsi is married to Ramya Krishnan, a South Indian actress. Ramya Krishnan acted in two of his films; Sri Anjaneyam (in a guest role) and Chandralekha, prior to marriage. Krishna Vamsi is known to be a fan of Sitarama Sastry. The films for which Sitarama Sastry wrote lyrics, which are directed by Krishna Vamsi include Ninne Pelladatha, Gulabi, Sindhooram, Chandralekha, Murari, Khadgam, Chakram, Mahatma, and Paisa. Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry adopted Krishna Vamsi, not legally through Indian Government Gazette, but by the traditional Hindu method.

Till date, I used to think how come a person like Ramya garu got tied to a person known as, literally, one Krishna Vamsi as wife...and how cruel the fate is! I never heard Mr. Krishna Vamsi's interviews in the past before yours. What a man Krishna Vamsi garu is! Astonishing clarity of thought process, knowledge of his field of specialisation and understanding of life. Hats off!
I never miss an opportunity to listen to Mr. RGV's interviews or press meets. Now, Vamsi garu is a new addition to the list. I will have to explore his interviews of the past.

కృష్ణ వంశీ గారు చేపినటు , నేను సినిమాలో ఏదోఒక అవుదామని హైదరాబాద్ కి వచ్చి 10 years పాటు jr ఆర్టిస్టు గా అసిస్టెంట్ డైరెక్టర్ గా తిరిగాను , కృష్ణ వంశీ గారు సినిమా మహాత్మా సినిమా సెట్ లో దాదాపు 2 నెలలు ఉన్న కలవాలని ప్రయత్నం చేసాను ఇప్పటికి వైట్ చేస్తున్నాను , సిందూరం లో హై రాయ్ హై దెగ్గర నుంచి ఇప్పటి వరకు అని సినిమాలు చూసాను , డైరెక్టర్ కి మూవీ పైన తన పేరు వేసుకునే దమ్ము ఉన్న డైరెక్టర్ అయ్యనే ఒక సీన్ తీసేటపుడు 100% ఎఫర్ట్ ఇచ్చే అతి తక్కువ మంది లో వంశీ గారు ఒకరు , ఆ సమయంలో చాలా శ్రద్ధగా వుంటారు , చిన్న తప్పు జరిగిన అయ్యానకు కోపం వస్తుంది , after షాట్ చాలా కూల్ గా వుంటారు.

అంజి నువ్వు ఇంటర్వ్యూ చేసేటప్పుడు...గోసిప్స్ ..పట్టుకొని ఏదో అడగడం బాగా లేదు.
1. పోలీస్ డిపార్ట్మెంట్ దగ్గర ఉన్న knowledge, ట్రైనింగ్ efforts, వారి ప్లానింగ్, పోలీస్ ట్రేస్ చేసే విధానం ...ఒక ఐపీఎస్ క్యాడర్ అధికారులతో మిగతా వారిలో చాలా డైనమిక్ గా ఉంటుంది. ఒక్కసారి...పోలీస్ ఆఫీసర్స్ ను కలిసి మూవ్ అయితే...నీకు కొంతైనా అవగాహన వస్తుంది.
2. వర్మ ఇంటర్వ్యూ లో ఆయన తెలివి నీవు పసిగట్టలేక...ఏదో సిల్లీ గా తీసుకున్నట్లు కొన్ని సార్లు ఎస్ప్రెషన్స్ ఇచ్చారు. మేధావి. అలాగే నటిస్తారు. వారి మేధస్సు అందుకోవడం చాలా కష్టం. ఆల్బర్ట్ ఐ న్ స్టీన్ అనే మేధావి...గొప్ప వ్యక్తి...శాస్త్రవేత్త. కానీ కామన్ గా ఉన్నప్పుడు... ఆయన మాటలు ...నార్మల్ గా ఉంటాయి. అలాగే మేధావులు...ఉంటారు.
3. సినిమా ఒక పెద్ద ప్రాజెక్ట్. పెట్టుబడిదారుడు,ఆర్టిస్ట్స్,డబ్బు,భోజనం, కథ ప్రకారం సెట్టింగ్స్, కెమెరామెన్ arrangements, డాన్స్ మాస్టర్స్, అసిస్టెంట్ డైరెక్టర్స్...weather, transportation ఇలా...ఎంతో కష్టపడి ఒక సినిమా తీసి...మళ్ళీ ఎడిటింగ్, మ్యూజిక్ అప్పుడు ఫస్ట్ కాపీ రెడి అవుతుంది.
ఇంత కష్ట పడి సినిమా తీసేటప్పుడు... చిన్న చిన్న సంఘటనలు... జరుగుతాయి. మానవుల ఎమోషన్ పరిస్థితులను బట్టి మారుతుంది. ఇది గమనించి...ఇంటర్వ్యూ మరింత ఇంటరెస్టింగ్ గా ..తీసుకొంటే బావుంటుంది అని నా అభిప్రాయం.
One of the best director in Tollywood. Hat's of sir. Personally I must watched weekly one time GULABI AND ANTHAPURAM. These are my all time favorite movies.

hai Bangar Raju , happy to see you. I am your childhood friend, class mate , bench mate and family friend at Nandikotkur for about 3 years during 1973-1975. After that we never met .Hope you remember NDK ,THANGEDANCHA form .I still remember your Madhu Babu stories in those days. You use to be a good story teller in those days.
