I usually take the muffler delete anyday but I gotta be honest that exhaust system is way better sounding.
It’ll sound way better with the mufflers off and it’s not obnoxious either

AWE sounds way better but I ain’t got $2k so I’ll probably use dynomax race bullets. I think they give a little more definition to the sound. Love the comparison videos.
If someone has money for a $75,000 SUV, they can spend the extra $2,000 on exhaust.

The longer the X-pipe more raspy, deeper tone you’ll get . Go with a mid muffler delete , custom 2ft x -pipe . I’ll sound like.GT haus. Corsa & save $1500 -4500. I did this on my trackhawk sounds amazing

H pipe is the only way to go on HEMIs! Everyone always hears X pipe this and that and think thats the way to go, but I dont wanna sound like a raspy Mustang, I wanna sound like a strong deep HEMI with all that massive torque!! MRT has probably one of the best exhausts out there!! They only do H pipe systems!

I love these quality vs cheap exhaust comparison videos. It shows that you get what you pay for. The AWE system is louder, deeper, look better, and last longer. The resonators are the frosting on the cake. Especially on the freeway where there's no drone at highway speeds. Why would you go cheap if it sound like an old dump truck?
Agreed. At the same time though it’s all dependent on the budget. Considering they have an srt though that probably isn’t the case.
Its funny how much quieter the stock GC SRT-8 is compared to the stock SRT-8 Durango. The factory exhaust on the Durango sounds awesome tbh.

Never remove resonators, unless you want that nasty raspy sound.
I deleted the factory resonators and put the 11.5" Vibrant resonators knock off from Amazon on it. They are $37 each and tone down the raspiness. Sounds pretty good on my 5.7 GC
Gotta be careful, the EPA will start going after shops that modify exhausts in anyway possible. If it’s not oem it’s gonna be a fine. 🙄

They both sound good. The $2,000 exhaust sounds really good but I would think an exhaust shop could put a full system on for under $2,000. I did true duals with flowfx mufflers and tips from cat back for $650
I’d just run with the cat back system instead of cutting the mufflers. Just go get a touring or track exhaust system it’ll save ya the repairs trust me💀
2k definitely sounds better. Clearer and the muffler delete sounds like it needs to clear it's throat

Any one notice the inside clips different year jeep with different miles lol. Exhaust sounds better but not really worth it in my eyes. Spend that much and don’t really get much out of it. I would rather spend that money on something else for the jeep but hey if that’s what you want go for it.

it's obvious that the $2k exhaust sounds better here, but that mid muffler delete doesn't sound bad at all. I feel like if you got the money, then by all means get the 2k one but you wont feel disappointed if your budget only allows the muffler delete
If you wanna go the cheaper route and wanna be at least good sounding just get a muffler and res delete way better value for ur money, muffler delete just sounds stock its wayy too quite.

Take those rear resonators off. Straight pipe with an x pipe is the way the to go if you don't have an exhaust system

Oh man is that how much it costs to have a exhaust put on? Way more expensive than I had hoped. Ugh I hate being retired. I'm too broke for that. But I'm scared to take off my exhaust manifold. Bolts breaking and stuff. Which they shouldn't being a southern truck with only 109K on it. I was thinking 500ish range, had no idea things got expensive these days. NOT blaming the mechanics at all though. I understand.

WHAT???? You cannot be serious!!! You might have the 2 vehicles mixed up - NOTHING about the AWE system sounds like straight! There's a deep tone, growl, great resonance, etc. Straight sounds like trash cans. Put the crack-pipe down!

Would love to compare the $2K exhaust to a cat back straight pipe. Hemis are such a good test-bed for exhaust, they have a familiar sound with warble, growl and pop.
