Farewell Sebastian Vettel!

- Sebastian Vettel one of the greatest drivers and 4x world champion has officially retired from Aston Martin F1 team and Formula 1 itself. Throughout Vettel’s F1 career he achieved a lot on and off the track everything from winning races and becoming not only the worlds youngest champion and youngest 4 time champion to Vettel’s activism. Seb won numerous races with both Red Bull Racing and the Ferrari F1 team. Vettel’s retirement is definitely a loss for the sport but I’m sure he will move on and continue to do great things. I have really enjoyed Kym farewell video on Sebastian vettel retired form F1.
I'm really gonna miss Seb. He's been one of my favorite F1 drivers throughout his entire F1 career. I really hope he comes back to F1 as a team manager or head of the FIA or something like that.

Another professional and this time heartfelt presentation. We will all miss Seb. I agree with Rob Graham - hopefully Seb will return to the F1 sometime in the future in some capacity - maybe you could teach to become a great photographer & presenter as yourself. That would mean you could spend more time with your family - perhaps doing half the season each !!!!

Dear Seb, I wish you all the best for your future endeavours. You are a legend, a gentleman, a technical expert, someone who cares about what he is passionate about. You will be, and always remain, one of the greatest drivers of all time. You followed your dreams (joining Ferrari) and kept on doing the best possible. Keep the bees safe, keep the planet clean and most of all, keep being what you are.
Total class act, with the biggest conscience in the sport.
Fun Fact: Seb (and Norbert) visited the 92 Hockenheim GP, Schumi's first home race. Apparently they were at the "Hartbachdamm", while I and my brothers had (overprized, black-market) tickets for "Nord"... :-)

Seb is Seb & will always be the gem of a man & the driver he is. I also love Britta and how’s elegantly she’s been by him all these years and left the sport along with him. She’s sophisticated, classy, humble and smart. Would love to know what she’s gets up to in her life.

The only thing I can think of is he’s talking about when driver numbers were actually a thing and it wasn’t car numbers, because the system came in 2014 and he used number one

I have to say when he was in Red Bull as a team mate ('mate' might be questionable!) with Mark Weber, I admired his ability but not his relationship with Mark and thus I was not a fan. However, over the years, I believed he matured into a driver that we could admire, not only for his ability as a Top Gun driver but as a responsible, caring and admirable person worthy of our adulation of him in his retirement year. I can only wish him all the best and hope that we will see him back in the motor racing scene in one form or another.

I took a trip down memory lane and watched the 2010 Abu Dhabi race where Seb dominated the race and won his first WDC. Great race to watch and hear the "old" cars screaming.

Favorite driver of all time, we share the same birthday, same year... I swear that has nothing to do with it!
He will definitely be missed. I wasn't a fan for the longest time, but I learned more about him as a person and he certainly won me over. How could he not? Adding insult to injury is losing Ricciardo, as well. It's going to be a bit different next year. No one can fill those shoes.
I have an autographed picture of young Seb from his formula BMW days. my sister ran Formula BMW in the U.S. so its him and her. he was probably in his teens. Sister hasn't been in contact with him tho since he made it into F1.

Since Ferrari fired Mattia Binotto recently, I can't see anyone more perfect to take his place than Seb, to be honest!

Seeing him retire , it hit me hard that the two other legends Hamilton and Alonso are just here now for a couple or three more seasons.Parting them goodbye would be even harder and the sport will not be the same without them 😢 .

Funny how peoples thoughts on Vettel changed after he left RB he was no longer the arse and turned into a good guy guess that comes with age
