I have often wondered if there was something special at that school to have fostered and promoted so many Wonderful and wonderfully Talented people. Apparently Kathy's father was an inspiration to a whole generation of amazing artists. Thank you, Sir!❤😊
Thank you for a wonderful interview with three incredibly talented people. Yes, I'm a Voiceplay fan. If you aren't familiar with them please give them a listen. They cover a many genres, something for everyone. I want to give a huge shout out to Kathy. You won't see her often in their videos ( there are some sightings) but she is a major factor in all the behind the scenes. Without her Voiceplay wouldn't be what it is.
One of the things that stands out while watching this is how generous they (and the whole VP group) are about sharing the spotlight. Not interrupting but instead deferring and listening while each member talks. They're just really humble, nice people- with absolutely Amazing talents! The whole group is better for it☺️
Just gonna say Voiceplay is amazing-if you haven’t heard them yet, you’re missing it. Also, there’s a video on Geoff’s channel that talks about Kathy’s hearing loss. If you or anyone you know is going through this, it’s a must see. This woman is a rockstar, the way she’s moved in behind the scenes and become a huge part of what makes Voiceplay happen. Thanks for this interview!
When Kathy mentioned that they’ve been interviewed on the set I was hoping they would show the interview. I hoped they link this to their page or maybe the famous Huldra could repost it. And she did!! Thanks!😊😊 #VoicePlay
An amazing interview - what classy people! It is wonderful to see artists who can share the limelight and root for their fellows. It was a gift to have such dedicated teachers who wanted the best for their students and gave them skills, support, self-confidence, and poise. The guys get the attention but NOTHING happens to make this magic without the structure - Kathy - your advice is prescient. When I saw the TH-cam about your hearing loss - I was saddened but I so admire your determination and skills. I have enjoyed your parts in the mix. Each member of Voiceplay is an outstanding solo artist and, together they are exponentially better. I cannot tell you how much I have enjoyed it all. Layne - the math skills make perfect sense to me - once I found out that reading music was just math and not some "secret language" it all made sense. I should have taken classes too. I believe that the love of family and friends makes you all so unique. The attention to detail and the give and take show up in the final product. I could go on and on and sadly, I already have - yikes. Keep up the good work! THANK YOU!
I wonder what magic Lake Howell High School hasthat drew these people together. The artistry, creativity, and musical genius that they produce is amazing!!
Nicely conducted and edited interview. It allowed each member to offer a different perspective. The things that VoicePlay does that make them exceptional (along with having innate talent) are their willingness to keep experimenting and pushing their skills while also being genuine humble and kind humans.
I loved the interview and getting to know a little more about them. And I also loved Kathy's final answers, she is undoubtedly a fundamental pillar for VoicePlay and, of course, for Geoff. ❤❤❤
Geoff couldn't be the artist that he is without Kathy's hard work and support behind the scenes. They are obviously a true collaboration. So Inspiring!❤️
Even their speaking voices are especially beautiful and a pleasure to listen to ( also, of course, because what they are saying is sensible and kind...)
Thank you so much for this wonderful and insightful interview. This peek inside the group's beginning and early lives is something to cherish. Wind to they wings to you all.
Encore merci !....🥰💌
Love this interview as I used to be a secondary school teacher before retirement (secondary school is the term used in the British world in the previous centuries, it covers the middle school and high school with the terms 'junior' for the first 3 years and 'senior' for the 3 or 4 years that follow).

This was wonderful. VoicePlay is my number 1 favorite Acapella group. #TheatreKidsOfACapella.

Yes, the way they “group speak” is how they sing.
I just love Geoff’s “You had fun?!”😁😁

Voiceplay has my heart. Thank you for giving them credit and providing a peek into the lives of the teenagers they were.
Kathy Castellucci's advice was the wisiest.

He Does and they are really good! They are on his solo YT channel.
@@DSJ-gg2ns cool thanks!
So very talented!
A huge part of their success is their skill and talent at arrangements. Years of experience pays off. VoicePlay is amazing.
This was wonderful ❤ Voiceplay gives so much. They deserve all the good things😊
VoicePlay are the greatest. What a great series y'all have here.
This was fantastic! I loved the interview.

If I was at that school I would be highly inspired by this!! What wonderful advice. 💞🌹🕊

This was so much fun to watch. I have really grown to love Voiceplay and am so happy you have posted this to be enjoyed by everyone on youtube!
Love this!! I was that band/choir person in HS, too. We LIVED for it!
As someone who did choir in high school, I definitely agree with both of your statements!
I was the band kid in middle and high school. It was everything. I thought I'd go into music in college but circumstances went against it.
Delightful interview!!
Love Voice Play love them
So glad I found this!

I had to leave the interview for a few minutes to listen to “A Crimpella.” But I came back! 👏❤

Love Voice Play❤ and everything they do!
I already love VoicePlay and now I find out that they went to the same high school as me?! Years apart, sure.. but that’s still so cool!!!

Nice interview, but it seems that the interviewer isn’t at all familiar with their music. He didn’t do his homework!
It's look like this.
Whats on his face
Layne and Geoff are dressed as cyborgs for the video they were shooting, Black Hole Sun th-cam.com/video/48pl496yayA/w-d-xo.html
I love these people!!! they bring us beautiful hours and let us participate in it. I would have screwed myself in Geoff too! 😘🤩👍🫶
