Lovebites has one speed, Lovebites speed. And just when you get used to that Miyako, the guitarist on the right drops some Chopin classical piano on you followed by a Gary Moore-esque guitar solo and then Midori, the guitarist on the left hits you with a technical solo worthy of Dream Theater. And all of that supported by the ass kicking one-two punch of Miho (bass) and Haruna (drums) and the amazing vocals of Asami over top of it all. SO much talent in one band!
Best Power, thrash, speed, traditional Metal band to emerge in 30+ years. All Glory to LOVEBITES and The Wolf Pack everywhere!, proud member of the Pack since 2017.
so glad you like them. they are obviously something else. I hope, we´ll see more reactions to these five amazing young ladies. I suggest "swan song" incl. piano prelude from the same concert. that one shows, that they much more, than "just" the best powermetalband around. I would suggest the version "okku" uploaded and subtitles on. have a good one. greetings from germany.
it's like in the werewolf movies when you have been bitten the transformation is inevitable. Straight into the pack. in the space of one song these girls cut my brain, imagine almost 2 hours of concert you get out of there, I don't know how mentally you will be.
Finally you check out Lovebites. Welcome to the world of Lovebites. The best one metal band right now in the earth. All the musicians on this band is insane and world class talent. Not a gimmick or fake. They effortless. Great reaction! Like your mind blowing to Lovebites. Next song, try react some power thrash or heavy song from them.. The song is "Winds of Transylvania" or "Break the wall" Once again thank for your great reaction to Lovebites.
Yeah, you are BITTEN! Hahaha! Welcome to the wolfpack! Wait until you see/hear "Winds of Transylvania" and "Glory to the World"! ( And literally EVERYTHING ELSE they have done! )
Hi Tom. Very happy to sub - try 'Swansong' live from the same concert One of the guitarists is a trained concert pianist (which I'm sure will come as no shock to you! 😆) The intro is played by her - you might have wondered who plays the piano stage right?! Keep em coming - mad Nightwish fan here, only got into them during lockdown - I now have tickets to see them both in Birmingham and London - I know, I've got it bad!! If you want to go further into the Japanese metal music culture, I highly recommend 'Babymetal' , - some narrow minded people tend to watch one video and think "what the hell is this" , but believe me, it is well worth another wonderful rabbit hole to delve into. They are wonderful performers - and the band is smoking 🔥. Keep em coming - your enthusiasm is much appreciated and infectious!
Wow-Wee is right 🙌 Has the shock wore off yet? 😂 These ladies are special. I first heard them a couple months ago and that's all I've been listening to since...I cant get enough! I hope I get to see them live 🤩 Great reaction 😁
LOVEBITES - Holy War lyrics: Look at those black clouds, it’s going to rain blood People live in fear, covered in mud Singing oh Gloria to change the prophecy We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for sisters There is a thousand, a thousand of evils Hush, do not wake up Satan’s devils Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for brothers Shining blade and burning heart Into the Gates of Hell we march Immortal soul, let there be light Into the Eye of Heaven Eagles at a holy war Fly higher than the sun We are one for all and all for one forevermore Kingdom of Heaven, never shall we fall Reincarnation, wait for your call Singing oh, Gloria to change the prophecy We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for sisters Morning star and dying moon Into the Gates of Hell we march Mighty soul, let there be hope Into the Eye of Heaven Eagles at a holy war Fly higher than the sun Stand up in the name of the God of heavy metal What do we live for? What do we fight for, tonight? But the world is beautiful, worth fighting for Only have one thing on our mind Facing the fate, holy war Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for brothers Shining blade and burning heart Into the Gates of Hell we march Immortal soul, let there be light Into the Eye of Heaven Eagles at a holy war Fly higher than the sun We are one for all and for one forevermore What do we live for? What do we fight for, tonight? But the world is beautiful, worth fighting for Only have one thing on our mind Facing the fate, holy war ----- lyrics: LOVEBITES music: Mao arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami)
Bro, watch them play songs Raise Some Hell, Break The Wall, The Hammer Of Wrath, Scream For Me, more crazy solo's and shreeeddd from them, and their latest MV Glory To The World, Winds Of Transylvania..... :)
Nearly all of their songs having dueling solos and unison solos, their songs above the Black Sea, swan song, break the wall, thunder vengeance, hammer of wrath, all amazing, and it’s just the top of the ice burg, some of their songs that don’t have MV’s or live recordings are super nasty too, like Mastermind 01, the solo in this is soooooo nasty
I’ve been bitten by lovebites and really love it. Amazing band. My favorite band at this moment. The whole concert is great. All their music is great. Thank you for this reaction. Subscribed.
Japan is a female rock band superpower these days. P.S. Lovebites sound more Iron Maiden like Iron Maiden. P.P.S. A Lovebites live gig is definitely on my post-COVID bucket list.
Welcome to the Wolfpack. Thanks for checking these ladies out. If you want to see the best female shredder I've ever seen and one of the best of either sex, check out Saki, the lead guitarist in Mary's Blood. Watch their music video for "Marionette" as it has two good solos from her, one in the middle and one at the end. She also plays in the band Nemophila which she founded last year. They don't call her the Queen of Shred without reason. However, Midori and Miyako are awesome in this band. I told my wife the other day that playing to their level is my goal with my guitars, although, I realize that I won't get there. Keep them coming, you have so many more awesome Japanese bands to check out, however with BAND-MAID and Lovebites, you are near the pinnacle of talent.
Another stunning Hendrix vibe performer is Hal-Ca from Asterism, Dawn LIVE (th-cam.com/video/buQPvINJcA0/w-d-xo.html). She is 16 y.o. in this video playing since she was 10, Miyu 17 y. o. on the 7 string bass is just as wicked good but the string work and Hal-Ca fingers are a sight to behold. I love Saki and her fingers of Steel but man this girl is stunning after 6 years of playing, where will she be in another 5 years is anyone's guess.
Great song, but there are even better ones: Break the Wall or Raise some Hell. You'll be blown away by the power, by the talent, by the beauty, by everthing is ladies do!
Good reaction my friend... Clearly you have been bitten by the alpha of the wolf pack... Welcome to the wolf pack!! For your next stop of your journey on Lovebites.. check out Thunder Vengeance... you will see how they open their show... As they always said... we are Lovebites and we play heavy metal!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘.. Untill then... stay safe and stay Lovebites...
"Do they ever slow down".....NO!!!!! Welcome to the lair of the Metal Goddesses and the Wolf-Pack that follows them with total devotion. Formed in 2016 to bring more European sounds to J/Metal this band of insanely talented women are FLAWLESS PERFECTION in what ever they do. Power, Speed, Thrash, Rock, Ballads and even classical piano are their weapons of choice. Whether LIVE, Music Video, Studio or even Anime Theme these women can't be anything but awesome. All petite models (between 4' 9" and 5' 2") they wear high heels and white dresses to seen on stage but once they start playing the Metal Goddesses just blow you away with total exhilaration. Miho/bass (founder) and little Haruna/drums are the backbone that drives this Lamborghini of a metal band all the time. The Shine Time goes to Midori/Blond/ESP and Miyako/Black/Dean a/k/a the M & M show who put on a guitar clinic in every song this band does but especially LIVE. Finally, the 5' dynamo ex-ballerina student, Asami who came from a R & B/Jazz/Soul background and never sang metal till she joined this band belts out over the stunning music and command the crowd and the stage LIVE like few others. 1st all Japanese female band to play Wacken Open Air and Bloodstock festivals in Europe (2018)and when you realize how many great female bands there are in Japan that speaks volumes. Great reaction BTW and Band-Maid is great but are more Rock with some Metal and Punk influences, Lovebites is 80's metal mixed with old masters and their own sound to produce a sound that is stunning. Haruna(Lovebites) and Akane (Band-Maid) are drummers who are good friends. Female bands dominate a lot of the J/Metal and J/Rock seen so welcome to the rabbit-hole with no bottom!!!!
I love Lovebites and there are indeed lots of Japanese all-female bands, but I'm not sure if I would agree that they are dominating the Japanese music scene. They are certainly going strong though.
Yeah nice surprise for you. You just sow the winners of Metal Hammer Golden gods awards for 2018 year in category best new metal band. Their last album Electric pentagram was nominated for one of the best 20 metal albums for 2020 year. Please check the song Glory to the world from their last EP Glory Glory to the world. Enjoy it. PS- you just open the pandora box. It's my opinion Lovebites are the best power metal band in last 20 years maybe more which I've heard. They have around 50 songs till now and none of them is bad. Amazing.
So you’ve been lovebitten, too. Welcomed to the mind-blowing world of Lovebites. As you have already seen, they really shine in their live performances. They play (mostly) power metal but they are so versatile. Their main influences are Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Metallica, Slayer, Angra, Dragonforce, Whitesnake, Gary Moore, etc., but they are developing their own style. Lineup: Haruna - Drums Miho - Bass Midori - Lead & rhythm guitar, backing vocals Miyako - Lead & rhythm guitar, keyboards, classical piano, backing vocals Asami - Lead vocals
If you want to see a female shred - check out Tina S doing Steve Vai's "For the Love of God". She was (I think) 15 at the time. One of the first people to react to her cover of it, and who highly recommended looking at it was none other than Steve Vai. She was (she's taken a break for the last few years to go to University) next-level shred.
Yeah, I was going to mention Tina S. Her "Moonlight Sonata" cover literally blew-up the internet a few years ago. But as far as I know... she is not in a metal band.
"These ladies are NUTS!" Yes, one way to put it. Some background: Other reviewers have described them as alien superheroes disguised as young women, angels sent to save us, princesses of metal, and angry bridesmaids. They have themselves said in interviews that part of their mission is to save heavy metal from darkness and obscurity. They were formed from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief metalhead and soul of the band) recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" pocket nuke), and they went and found the two guitarists, Midori and Miyako, who were with other bands, and the whole group found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time. Miho and Miyako compose most of their music, but Midori has also been getting into the act, and Asami writes a lot of the lyrics. They have only been around for a little over 4 years. They studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Slayer etc. and they pretty much aced it all. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance is that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and it seems clear they’re taking it to another level. This is one of their "starter" songs for reactors, and rightly so--you get a good sense of the band. They do everything from soulful power ballads to white-hot insane thrash, and almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. The two shredders are very different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel. Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The interplay makes their duets rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. (As another reactor said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band.") Miyako is also a concert-level classical pianist-she only picked up guitar when she was 18. If you want to see what they do with the piano, watch “Swan Song” WITH the prelude, which is Chopin’s “Revolutionary Etude” th-cam.com/video/n1BiurShqBM/w-d-xo.html Miyako wrote “Swan Song” using elements from several classical pieces including the Etude. You'll get lots of suggestions, just one thing: don't bother with Bloodstock footage, the quality is poor. Best to take suggestions with actual links. Welcome to the Wolf-Pack!
They kinda Melt Your Face Off, huh? Miyako (long skirt) is the primary composer and Asami (vocal) is the primary lyricist with the entire band taking part to create the final version. There are a 100+ all female Rock/Metal bands in Japan, So you need to pick up the pace. Here's a few Babymetal, Nemophila, Mary's Blood, and Aldonius.
I challenge you to find me a single reaction to Lovebites where the reactor just sits there; no smile, no headbanging, nothing. Just a straight dull face. Can ya ?!
US music scene: autotuned trap & vulgar WAP. Japanese music scene: 5 cute girls, dressed up like anime princesses, playing some of the most balls-to-the-wall Speed/Power-Metal you will hear, on a technical skill and energy level, that makes most male metal bands look like amateurs, while also giving positive vibes & staying classy. No wonder Marty Friedman moved to Japan 20 years ago.
Whats going on ? You like to listen to rock and metal music and didn't know Lovebites ? This is a scandal ! No joke, a nice reaction video. I hope for more of you to Lovebites : You may not believe it, but I tell you : Lovebites has over 40 excellent songs of this quality ! It may be that we have the metal band in the world that is playing best together at the moment. They play different styles, but always hard and fast. Thrash Metal + Power Metal + Speed Metal + Metal Ballads S u g g e s t i o n s for next reaction V i d e o : ALL LIVE !!! The Hammer Of Wrath - Zepp Diver City live Thunder Vengeance - Zepp Diver City live Break the Wall - Zepp Diver City live Shadowmaker - Awake Again live Studio Epilogue - Daughters of the Down live Scream for me - Daughters of the Down live Eagle fly free cover - Awake Again live Studio Under the Red Sky - Daughters of the Down live
So you've hit Band-Maid (my favorite) and Lovebites. Now you just need to listen to Nemophilia - Dissension and the Japanese trifecta will be complete.
I love how the people reacting to Lovebites for the first time always try to match the band's intensity and speed with the head banging and about half way through the song they are exhausted and give up. Meanwhile Lovebites is just zooming along at 200mph leaving the rest of the world in the dust. Great reaction. Now for your next Lovebites reaction, please do "When Destinies Align" live th-cam.com/video/0echo8z8w7c/w-d-xo.html
Also all members of Lovebites are insanely talented multi-instumentalists who also compose all their music and write their own lyrics in English. Babymetal is a female vocal duo/trio backed by hired muscians.
Band Maid compose their music after second album. Kanami composes all songs, Miku writes lyrics. Band Maid is rock, hard rock, Lovebites are metal. Each band is different. Band Maid, Lovebites, Nemophila, Mary’s Blood are all incredible.
You've been looking in the WRONG place for female guitarists; there are a ton of them in Japan. I liked Show-Ya when they came out in the late 80s, but I think due to the American music industry's attempt to hush female rock bands at the time - yes, there were a few, but they went through hell to get out there - I thought Show-Ya was pretty much a one-off and didn't think about it again. And then, I was DJing a club in a virtual world called Second Life. One of my fans, who in RL is from Tokyo, demanded I play a track called "Thrill" from a band called Band-Maid, which had just hit youtube.... I drove into the rabbit hole in a '73 Dodge Challenger with all barrels firing. Since that day, doing youtube searches for Japanese Rock, I have discovered so many incredible bands that I have to remind myself to listen to my normal stuff. ANY type of rock, they have it in spades. I don't know if they put something in the water over there, or if it's just the fact that the Japanese people are programmed from birth to study hard and work hard, but they are ruling the airwaves. And most of the all-girl bands I have found snow under the male bands. Freefall into the rabbit hole with the rest of us; you'll be glad you did! Meanwhile, it sounds like you have joined THE BITTEN. Lovebites rules!
Good reaction. Check out their latest video "Glory to the World". Great up lifting song. And you really should react to Nemophila. Another good all female metal band from Japan. The song is "dissension".
You will be hard pushed to find a song from Lovebites and as you mentioned Band Maid, them as well, that you will not enjoy. For a thrashy song from Lovebites, have a look at Raise Some Hell: th-cam.com/video/yJw3xMY37Os/w-d-xo.html Often, first time reactions say Lovcebites remind them of DragonForce. Well, Herman Li and the gang have already had them on tour with them in the UK.

Best metal band today.
Wolfpack is here.
You have been DEVOURED...Welcome to the WOLFPACK...LOVEBITES Journey...
LOL. This is just the beginning.
You know it!
I can't think of a band past, present, or future who could ever be compared or even come close to how tight and talented these ladies are.
LOVEBITES - the saviors of heavy metal.
Keep going with Lovebites brother.
The more you react to now, the more your Lovebites playlist will grow. ;-)

LOVEBITES - Holy War lyrics:
Look at those black clouds, it’s going to rain blood
People live in fear, covered in mud
Singing oh Gloria to change the prophecy
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for sisters
There is a thousand, a thousand of evils
Hush, do not wake up Satan’s devils
Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for brothers
Shining blade and burning heart
Into the Gates of Hell we march
Immortal soul, let there be light
Into the Eye of Heaven
Eagles at a holy war
Fly higher than the sun
We are one for all and all for one forevermore
Kingdom of Heaven, never shall we fall
Reincarnation, wait for your call
Singing oh, Gloria to change the prophecy
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for sisters
Morning star and dying moon
Into the Gates of Hell we march
Mighty soul, let there be hope
Into the Eye of Heaven
Eagles at a holy war
Fly higher than the sun
Stand up in the name of the God of heavy metal
What do we live for? What do we fight for, tonight?
But the world is beautiful, worth fighting for
Only have one thing on our mind
Facing the fate, holy war
Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for brothers
Shining blade and burning heart
Into the Gates of Hell we march
Immortal soul, let there be light
Into the Eye of Heaven
Eagles at a holy war
Fly higher than the sun
We are one for all and for one forevermore
What do we live for? What do we fight for, tonight?
But the world is beautiful, worth fighting for
Only have one thing on our mind
Facing the fate, holy war

Midori and Miyako's guitar solos are the highlights of every Lovebites song, check out Scream For Me, it will blow your mind
I saw the writing on your shirt. To watch a LOVEBITES video is surely no mistake. Have fun with your next LOVEBITES experience.
I’ve been bitten by lovebites and really love it. Amazing band. My favorite band at this moment. The whole concert is great. All their music is great. Thank you for this reaction. Subscribed.

NAMM Show 2020 MIYAKO ( LOVEBITES )
MIYAKO on the guitar has a good demonstration.
Amazing band, and belive me this is not a most frenetic song from them.

Welcome to the Wolf-Pack!
this is just the second song of a two hour set
They kinda Melt Your Face Off, huh? Miyako (long skirt) is the primary composer and Asami (vocal) is the primary lyricist with the entire band taking part to create the final version. There are a 100+ all female Rock/Metal bands in Japan, So you need to pick up the pace.
Here's a few Babymetal, Nemophila, Mary's Blood, and Aldonius.
I challenge you to find me a single reaction to Lovebites where the reactor just sits there; no smile, no headbanging, nothing. Just a straight dull face. Can ya ?!
4:24 when they actually show down …”do they every slow down”? 🤷♂️🤦♂️
Wolf Pack Brasil 🇧🇷

"I don't think I can think of any female guitarists that shred like that."
Saki:"Hold my beer".
Also, Lovebites rule.
Sakura Yoshida: OK, boomers... ;)
You literally described the US music scene spot on! Thank God I have you guys!
Try thunder vengeance Tom
THESE GIRLS PUT US ALL IN SHAME
Whats going on ? You like to listen to rock and metal music and didn't know Lovebites ? This is a scandal ! No joke, a nice reaction video. I hope for more of you to Lovebites : You may not believe it, but I tell you : Lovebites has over 40 excellent songs of this quality ! It may be that we have the metal band in the world that is playing best together at the moment. They play different styles, but always hard and fast. Thrash Metal + Power Metal + Speed Metal + Metal Ballads

No, this is Lovebites. Scandal is a completely different band.
So you've hit Band-Maid (my favorite) and Lovebites. Now you just need to listen to Nemophilia - Dissension and the Japanese trifecta will be complete.
Spouse "you look tired, what have you been doing?" Me "listening to Lovebites" 🤣😂
haha, that is exactly how it feels to listen to them!
Nothing more to say here. You have been Lovebitten. There is no antitoxine available. Greetings from Germany :)
Lovebites people know what they doing baiting reactors on Holy War :D.
Next japanese all female metal band: NEMOPHILA and their song "Raitei", please.
Nah, he needs to do: HANABIE "We Love Sweets"! Hehehehe!
Japan should name one of their shinkansen's after Lovebites! ( The Lovebites Express! ) And put the princesses on the sides of the train!
Lovebites has one advantage over Band Maid - Lovebites sings all their songs in English, whereas Band Maid is 95% Japanese.
Better songwriting also, so that's 2 advantages.
Also all members of Lovebites are insanely talented multi-instumentalists who also compose all their music and write their own lyrics in English. Babymetal is a female vocal duo/trio backed by hired muscians.
@@skoob64 I thought we were talking about Band-Maid versus Lovebites. You said Babymetal? O_o
Also, for me Lovebites plays heavy metal, whereas Band Maid is just rock and my heart will always favor the heavy metal band.
Now don't you feel a whole lot better... :)
Well, Herman Li and the gang have already had them on tour with them in the UK.
another unsuspecting gringo gets drawn into the clutches of LOVEBITES. the wolfpack welcomes you
Unsuspecting gaijin! Hahaha!
Haruna Haruna Haruna ❤❤❤❤
Isn't the rabbit hole of Japanese bands fun? LOL! Enjoy the ride, there's a treasure trove of killer bands coming out of Japan right now!
Please react to CLUTCH (the best band you've never heard of ©). I suggest for your first go, either Electric Worry (their most well-known song), Burning Beard, 10001110101 or A Quick Death In Texas.
FYI...this same comment will appear ONLY if I have watched your reaction video. I am not here to spam your channel...I just want to help get a great band some much deserved recognition. P.S....I will always give your reactions a thumbs-up, even if I don't care for or like the band or song you react to...because I like you and your channel.
Cheers!
Into the gates of HELL we march 🔥🔥🔥🔥
check out "The Hammer Of Wrath" live from the same concert, it's trash metal 💘
Horrific...sounds like Karaoke gone bad
So metal band should sounds like nightwish ? It's boring
@@abalkuabal2594 I agree they are boring. Maybe they could sing some babyshark in Chinese for us!
@@donaldcampbell9483 Haha, how funny. What a sad troll you are.
