    Very nice collection. Funny how he leafed right through what was probably the most impressive page, an almost complete set of Colombians including a $5 stamp that looked like it might have been mint

      that was a printed copy, like #1 and 2 and I think the zeps, and others were not good quality/damaged

    Super. Добрый день сэр. В каком году приобрели коллекцию России и что она тогда стоила? Во сколько сейчас вы её оцениваете? Марки Эстонии тоже есть в вашей коллекции? С уважением. Good afternoon sir. In what year did you acquire the Russian collection and what was it worth then? What time do you estimate it now? Do you also have Estonian stamps in your collection? Sincerely.

    a pretty big collection, most US after 1945 has no premium value - even plate blocks, Russia after 1960 same thing, but I saw mostly cto :-( the Roosevelt collection looked interesting. Definitely some nice items, some quality issues too

    Unless those stamps in the various albums get sorted and consolidated to a "collection", then what the person in the video has is an "accumulation" of various stamp albums. In another words, he does not have a "stamp collection", but he does have a "stamp albums collection".

      I beg to differ..that's a wonderful collection..only the so called philatelists won't accept it's a collection..shame on them for refusing to accept it as a collection and downgrade it as an accumulation

      As a very serious philatelist myself, I think you're utterly wrong. It's a serious collection.

    I'm assuming as blocks of four your grandfather was getting the entire watermark on each stamp set?

    • @steveradell859
      @steveradell859 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      not really applicable, watermarks ended about 1915
