I don’t think it’s fair to hold someone accountable for another persons actions. Dre's incident happened before Kendrick was even apart of the industry, it was almost 30 yrs. ago. Just because the person you work with has a past shouldn't be an indictment on you morally if they aren't actively participating in those immoral behaviors currently and it's left in the past with a few exceptions like (grape, harming children). Everyone makes mistakes. Schultz utilized the argument used during BLM where people were protesting police brutality but the argument was "ok, but what about black on black crime?" Why Is it that black people have to be PERFECT to stand up for their OWN culture. The sentiment Kendrick defends is an honorable one and he's the rapper who has the track record to do so whether you agree with the sentiment or not. Kendrick isnt mad at jokes, he’s mad at the racism that is sometimes masked as jokes. This is a cultural conversation not a comedic one

please stop with this "why do black people have to be PERFECT" BS. Nobody is telling kendrick to be perfect , just dont be a hyprcrate. If kendrick is allowed to call out people such as drake and white comedians. so can other people also call him out.
Its fair to ask why is Kendrick calling out white comedians but at the same time is working on a show white comedians. it has nothing to do with being PERFECT. We just calling out the inconsistencies.
The issue with kendricks sentiments is that its an attack on comedy because once you start by saying stop making jokes on black women and the entire internet agrees then other women are going to come out and say dont disrespect aian women or latina women. Then everybody is eventually going to not want to be joked on. Then that would be the end to comedy because the new law would be. Dont disrespect anybody

Why is this a debate. He wasn’t talking to the white Comedian. He was talking to the community he stand for. If you have someone rather they are a comedian or not, disrespect somebody in your culture, especially in a public setting. The white community can say whatever you want, but just like free speech, it’s not free of consequences.

  • @nik0Tesla

So the thing is that people are feeling but I haven’t really seen many people articulate is that Kendricks like was not directed at Schulz. Schulz was used as the catalyst to really speak to Charla and the likes of him. That usher people into our space and then allow them to play in our face. Schulz playing the hit dog really was him using this to be in the conversation and say some things he really been feeling knowing he won’t be checked by the same people Kendrick was talking to.

Yall missed the point in Schultz. 1. Is a joe rogan white surpermacist stmpathizer. 2. Comedians can get on stage and say whatever. But the audience can also respond and say whatever as well. Comedians love to use their "free speech" but hate when their critics use it.
Schultz doesn't respect hip hop, or Black culture and it was sick how they propped up that Black producer on Brilliant Idiots to show Schultz knows a Black woman.

You do know that lawyer went up and sued huge oil company BP and won that case. He also is the lawyer that the AG of Texas has appointed to take on big corporations on the behalf of the State of Texas. The closest you've seen from Jay-Z is finesse and bullshit his way to the top for 30 years while backstabbing and screwing over everyone that helped him on his journey, except for Diddy and Memphis Bleek. If you're familiar with the show Suits which is about lawyers. This Tony Buzbee is basically a real life version of Harvey Specter from that show. He already tricked Hov into writing an incriminating statement because if Hov loses this case and it becomes a criminal case which is a 90% chance with how strongly ties he is to Diddy then you have Jay-Z saying what he feels people who rape a 13 year old deserve.
