The Ordinary’s Lactic Acid 5% is my holy grail!! It was gifted to me on my birthday and it really helped with clearing and brightening my skin. I have oily combination acne-prone skin, btw.
I went through a bad acne phase from end of 2019 to around March 2020, and as soon as those active zits went away, I started to ramp up my acid game. I used Cos de Baha 10% glycolic acid and 4% salicylic acid. I built myself up to applying BOTH every. Single. Day. Let me tell you, my spots were not fading. Tsaka I think, one more important rule of thumb in exfoliating (and in all skincare products in general) PATCH TESTING! Patch testing is super important para malaman mo if 1) may irritation or negative reaction si skin mo sa product especially direct acids, and 2) para malaman mo kung kaya siyang itolerate ng skin mo. Patch Testing 101: Leave a pea sized amount nung product sa arm part, opposite the elbow or sa behind the ear. It depends sa product if it's leave-in or wash-off exfoliator. Then after 24-48 hours, doon mo malalaman if irritated yung skin mo or G lang yung skin mo sa exfoliator :D
A skin saviour! A Hyram catered for Filipino skin 💕 Sana mag upload ka pa soon! I am using the Benton Aloe BHA Skin Toner it has 0.5% BHA, super mild perfect for BHA first timers and sensitive, dry, acne-prone skin like meeeee
I love The Ordinary for their acids! I started off my chemical exfoliation journey last year August. I started off with the Lactic 5% then to Lactic 10% and now, Glycolic 7%. I’m glad I made my way up in strength because I have never experienced any tingly, burning sensations or irritation from these AHAs. I also did use the AHA/BHA Peeling Solution, which I just finished up last week. I did purge from this product, but that was expected. Overall I love chemical exfoliation and I am currently using The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning and Paula’s Choice BHA Liquid Exfoliant both on the same night routine twice a week. No issues so far.

It's a bit pricey though but it does its job without overly stripping the moisture sa skin. Not adviced to use it sa day time. Wear sunscreen!
I recently got introduced to chemical exfoliation and have been meaning to incoporate this in my routine. Glad that I stumbled upon your channel and this video (which was very informative). My face is an oil factory and am excited to use the CosRX Blackhead one. Thank you!
Hi, my skin type is acne-prone, oily skin. I'm planning to use the CosRX Blackhead power liquid. Have you used it? How was it? Is it effective and how often do you use it? Thank youuu

I do not look at the brands lang of the products, tinitingnan ko na talaga yung ingredients. I became so technical in my choices and it helped me a lot. Kudos!
Is it okay to exfoliate when you're under a C02 Fractional Laser treatment? 2 weeks lang yung advise ng derma clinic ko to not use products except Cetaphil and the products they recommended. After 2 weeks okay lang kaya? I'm too shy to ask my dermatologist 😞🤦🏽♂️
Good day Boss Angelo! Love how you present each topic. It's very informative that we, ordinary consumers, could easily understand them. Actually, I'm planning to benchmark your skincare. Hoping that you'd be able to film a step-by-step skincare process. Thank you 😁
Before I got pregnant, I was using niacinamide and lactic acid 5%. It really made my skin clear and smooth. Sobrang ganda nyan. Question ko po, after 1 year of not using lactic acid, ok lang ba na I try AHA BHA agad or to be safe lactic na lang ulit?. I like your contents. Pangatlong vid mo pa lang to na napapanood ko pero ganda and very informative. I used the ordinary products pero ngayon ko lang naintindihan ng mas maigi yung contents ng mga beauty products.

Nag purging aqo sa Niacinamide..nagstop ako tapos nag every other day ako and ayun nakita ko yung effects..yung pores ko viola..nde n visible..and now ngpurchased ako ng AHA + BHA ng The Ordinary..truth me tingling effect pero nawala mga laman ng acne ko..Yay thanks sa topic nato mas nalinawan ako sa product.
I love your videos! :) I’m very much into exfoliants also. I use Neutrogena blackhead toner with BHA every other day, which helped me a lot with my blackheads, whiteheads and pimples because it cleared out my pores. I only use the Neutrogena toner every other day since using it everyday can cause my skin to be more sensitive (I alternate it with Thayers toner). Sa body naman, I use Neostrata 10% glycolic acid lotion every other day at nighttime, especially sa arms and legs pang even out ng skintone. Mas maganda kasi ang puting pantay all over haha you don’t want a floating head. 😊 Sunblock din is also very important when using exfoliants. I’ve also used Azelaic Acid in the past for my post inflammatory acne marks.

Yung gwapo at may substance SANA ALL!!! 😂💛✊
Hi dear..u r soo good..and you have a beautiful skin and pretty face which suits you as a beauty vlogger.. Plus you speak clearly ha..nakaka aliw ka panoorin..
sana po may video na skin care routine like cleanser or exfoliation ba?? toner , serum , sunscreen , moisturizer. need namin ng guide haha hirap pumunta sa derma clinic nowadays
I don't mind the content anymore.

💓💓💓
Hiiii please do a topic about Exfoliator brush, scrubs, jade rollers, face towels, cleansing tissue. 🥺🥺🥺
Can you tell me what's the best affordable product for dehydrated skin? Hope you notice this.
Hehe. Love your vids! 😍😍
Hi Jan, please do morning and night skin care routine in proper layering 🙏🏻
Azelaic Acid is so so underrated. There are a lot of benefits your skin can get from AA.
Review naman po for sunscreen or sunblock good for sensitive, acne prone, and oily skin.
The only skincare vlogger that I can watch and finish the whole video. Ang natural mo po mag salita. ❤️
You should totes do a video on your current skincare routine (morning + night).
Hi!
I love it nung binanggit mo si apotheke. Sana ung ibang local brands din hehehe
just keep on going po sa pagbbgay sa amin ng mga very informative topics about skincare .. someday its all paid out coz you really deserve a diamond play buttons 😊
Suggestion for more variety brands of azelaic acids
Thank you!
Pls do: How to layer skin care product. Thanks
Hyram sis would be proud 🤩
😂 Thank you very much for all that you do. 🤗
Great video again! Informative.
Vid suggestion, how to layer acids next please! Do's and Don'ts; what acids are best used in the morning and at night; what acids can be mixed; are all acids require only at the maximum of usage of thrice a week?
More recommendation po sana sa azelaic acid products. I think this acid is what i need po, pero di ko lang po sure kung anong magandang products dito sa azelaic acid
I’m using CNP invisible peeling booster.
It’s effective and overall value for money
Haven't really tried exfoliants bc I'm still scared pero I have tried facial cleansers with AHA and BHA and ok naman sila sakin. I'm using Luxe Organix Miracle Solutions AHA/BHA Gel Cleanser 💕
I’ll be more interested learning CHEMISTRY if JAN ANGELO will be my TEACHER. ✊
