I have tried bumble and I actually subscribed so that I’d have to filter my search to only Christians. It turns out that though their profile said Christian the guys didn’t seem like genuine Christians at all. They were into partying and sex and I just didn’t feel valued as a woman by any means. I actually got really depressed recently because so many guys I’ve matched with have ended up not giving me a chance and not even going on a date.
I’ve never gone on any dates with the guys I’ve matched with on any dating app. My dating experience has been super discouraging because I just struggle so much meeting people. I’ve gone to churches but I suppose it hasn’t been consistent enough to establish any kind of relationship whatsoever. All in all, I’ve temporarily deleted all my dating apps and allowing God to take me on the road he wants me on. Thanks for this video, it was very insightful

I know exactly how you feel. The “Christian and Catholic” women on the typical dating apps show A LOT of skin and their bio is not really godly or godlike.

I pray that you find those rejections as a sign that God has someone for you. Although it is harder to date as a Chrisitian and meet someone equally yoked would be the best feeling. Any rejection you get, just take it as God is removing them because that's not what you deserve.

As a Christian, im gonna give it a hard NO. The majority of people ive gone through on any dating app typically never want any sort of serious connection, so its a waste of time looking for anything like that on an app

      @NickDrinksWater ปีที่แล้ว +5

@@MA-yc7pz True, but at least in real life theres face-to-face interaction, theres more one on one with the person instead of on the apps where the person you're talking to is also talking to 100 other people at the same time. Real life feels real and natural in comparison

@@NickDrinksWater I met someone on a Christian app, definitely tons of people that weren't Christian and tons of potential problems and tons more of bad profiles that were telling. As a guy sending out nearly 300 messages with maybe 10 replies, then that dwindled to 3 potential interests after some chatting and one stood out. talked more, met up for the first time and things have gone extremely well since.
I think the key is being able to filter out the non-sense, knowing what you want, and finding those people that are serious about God first. From there it is personality, beliefs, goals, etc.
Most of all put in tons of effort on your picture because that's all that will be seen when scrolling the catalogs. (which is kind of weird tbh).

I've tried dating apps because my friend recommend and that's where she found her husband, but I don't feel at peace about dating apps. I've attempted Hinged(for a week)and it was ok; then I tried this Christian dating app, I forgot the name, but they give you the option to see if you looking for a relationship, marriage, etc. But I knew this app could've not been Christian because they had the option for “Netflix and chill”.

God's telling me I still have a lot to work on between Him and me before I can even consider entering the dating pool. I 100% agree but it is nice to hear what other people have to say regarding Christian dating and what a true Godly marriage is supposed to look like. God willing I won't ever have to use a dating app.

I hate dating apps, I volunteer with refugees, go to church regularly, go to Leisure centre gym regularly, I’m even in an in-person philosophy Meetup group, I’m doing all I can but I haven’t met one compatible Christian woman, I know they are out there but I can’t find them. I’m extroverted and I’m use to speaking to women, I can tell you, since August 2020 (when God cured me of my chronic disease), I haven’t found one woman I’d even want to flirt with. I have no other choice but a dating app.

Im sorry its really long, lol. But please read the whole thing.
Hi guys, my name is Will. I live in Washington State. I just came across your videos and have watched a few of them including this one. You guys seem like really cool people. Its nice to see younger generations embracing Jesus whole heartedly and building their lives on the words of The Bible, and not shying away because society doesnt like what it says. Anyway i just wanted to introduce myself and say i actually met my wife on a dating app lol, (plenty of fish). I was not saved when we met but shes the one who brought me to Christ. We are celebrating our 7 year wedding anniversary on April 29th, and our 8 year anniversary of officially being together on June 8th. As well as God blessed us with our first child in February so hes a new new born, lol. We both love Jesus and the Bible (every word). Just wanted to say that even though i met my wife on one, and there are success stories from dating apps, i agree with you they are the exception not the rule. Anyway, i also watched your car accident video and Praise Jesus you survived, that was pretty narly. I have a similar story thats to long to put in this message, lol. Keep up the good work, stay stronh in God, stay strong in each other and dont ever forget there are people who support what you do and the message you are trying to spread even if they dont agree with you on every single topic. Idk if you need to hear this right now but as someone who is used to receiving intense backlash for sharing his faith i felt i should tell you that i have your back. Your channel looks like its new and not very old so keep the videos coming. I know you kinda did it on your "our story" video but i always enjoy getting to know the people i watch on a personal level so like your backstories of childhood, siblings, that kinda thing. So if your taking video suggestions thats always a good one i like. Testimonials and how you came to faith is also a good one.
    Take care
    Sending love from Washington State
    God Bless

Hi William! First and foremost, thank you so much for sharing your story and your testimony! We also really did need to hear the part about staying encouraged even through receiving hate, because our last video or two have certainly been controversial in the world’s eyes 😂 we would love to share more of our personal experiences and testimonies too! I think that would be really powerful! I like the idea of us kind of rotating between personal stories and advice content! God bless you and thanks for blessing us with your comment! There is also a dating app for conservatives only called The Right Stuff. It’s not exclusively Christian, but most conservatives are Christians, so you could probably guess 🥴 And they don’t have homosexual or pronouns options when creating a profile, and they do STRICTLY vet people before letting anyone on. They also require multiple decent photos, and they don’t allow immodest photos. I know because I tried joining one time and was denied for no known reason for me as I made conservative points when creating my profile. Wasn’t sure if it had something to do with one of my photos. 😂 Overall, I decided against trying again as I figured that I’ll just wait for God to provide me the right man.

Hello, I found your channel a little while ago and I really liked it. On this topic I would like to share a little bit of my story.
I never dated much less other things (you know ahah) and with that I fell into the world of tinder and other apps and falling into corn before but Im free from it since few months ago. With that, I believe that I will never find someone (someone Christian) because it is almost impossible to find someone Christian and who has Christian values these days, in this pathetic world.
I was also never very religious but I would like to start following the word of God but I still have a long way to go.
What advices could you give me for this situation?

I’m so incredibly glad to hear that you ended up getting off of them and that God broke your addiction to p*rn! (Just don’t wanna make TH-cam flag this comment, that’s why I’m using a “*” haha) If I could give you one piece of advice, it would be to get involved with a Church that preaches The Word of God unapologetically and some friends that will walk with Jesus with you! Then I’ll also tell you that listening to preachers like Paul Washer, David Wilkerson, and Chip Ingram are some GREAT pastors to listen to that will get you started! God bless you!! 😃🙏🏻

If you choose to meet someone on the dating app. Never give out personal information, never give them money regardless of what they tell you, never invite them to your home until you get to know them. I love the video but if she got mad and upset. There is room for improvement. As men we can become prideful and this is from the Lord I feel to teach you and humble you. We want to try and draw them closer to Christ and minister his love. I don’t think biblically saying I don’t think we worship the same God is the right answer. Jesus never said anything like that. He raised God up and healed people. He didn’t judge or prosecute others. He taught them and prayed over them. And it might be funny to the world but to God it’s not. That was an opportunity to draw her closer and I believe that was a test from God. I feel that response was a prideful one and we can always learn how Jesus would have done it and keep trying.
