@@johnnothegreat8907 Needles with bigger eye are bigger & thicker needles. These needles are not suitable to use for sewing on thinner or finer fabrics. You will have to use the thinner & slimmer needles, which unfortunately, usually comes with smaller eye.

With the broom bristle/pen method, I did get it to work using a dust brush which had very thin bristles. Unfortunately, the bristle was too short to use the pen, so I just held the bristle in my hand. I did have to use a larger needle.

I found a great little device by sew mate which is bright pink so is visible on the floor. It threads needles in microseconds without pain and suffering.

My eyesight isn’t as good anymore, I lost my little wire needle threader but now I will just make one with a little wire from my wire brush in my tool box. Now I need can fix buttons without someone threading the needle for me.

I sometimes put a tiny dab of nail polish on the tip of the thread, pull it flat between my fingers, and then thread the needle. This is useful for needles with small eyes like 'sharps.'
Good,I have a small wire fold device part of a Chinese set of all needles.I use it ,but some needles have very little eyes can't pass a thread through. First method shown works.

Nice trick for penetration of big holed needles, but what about of small holed needles? Any how good idea.
Speak for yourself, this is something I have trouble with, my buttons are waiting….now I can fix them without someone threading the needle for me.

There is a little triangle wire you can make or that comes with the needle kit that you can use to do it
By the time i found the hole for the wire and then put the thread through it i have list patience and discarded project to the WIP pile!
