      @@DutchmansAgates ooo, you shouldn't necessarily believe me on partially submerged marine animals, was just a suggestion, and may well be wrong. I am better at birds 😁
      Some research seems to show sea otters extinct in Oregon, so maybe you spotted a very rare good for views visiter if that's thing? I have only seen river otters in the wild and them only very rarely.

      It's just the way I found it, it took a fair bit of effort. The way I found it was driving down the 101, stopping at almost every beach, looking around for agates until I ended up at this spot. So I do like to keep this one to myself. If I didn't find it myself, I do share where I am.
      I'm from the middle of the Netherlands, the province is called Utrecht. When I go back I'll probably make a video about my hometown, maybe some people will think it's interesting.

      @Dutchman's Agates I was stationed in Germany in early 90s. Been to Eastern Nederlands twice. Eindhoven, Nijmegen to Arnhem

      Which ones? I believe they're chalcedony, common opal isn't overly common for me lol

      I don't think light can shine through churt, could be wrong of course.
