Cebu has a lot to offer and what better way to explore an island in the Philippines than with a motorbike on a road trip! BEST TOURIST SPOTS IN MOALBOAL, CEBU (Check it out in TH-cam) Hello Ken I highly recommend to visit this places in Moalboal, Cebu especially Basdaku White Beach, explore Pescador Islands & Canyoneering at Kawasan Falls in Moalboal, Cebu.
1. Visit the Basdaku White Beach, is a long stretch of white sand beach in Moalboal, Cebu. It comes from the word "Basdaku" or "Basdakoo" meaning "big sand" in Cebu native dialect. It offers activities like boat rentals, scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, kite surfing, surf fishing and more. It is situated in Saavedra, Moalboal, Cebu.
2. Witness & Canyonering in the Majestic Kawasan Falls, it is a three-stage waterfall within 20 kilometers(12 miles) in Moalboal, Cebu. It is located in Badian, Moalboal, Cebu.
3. Explore Pescador Islands, located in the Tañon Strait, Pescador Island is a few kilometers away from the island of Cebu and still part of Moalboal municipality. Boating is one way to visit nearby islands of Pescador.
4. Boating and snorkeling with Planet Action Adventure. Recreational diving is the main tourist activity in Moalboal. The long stretch of coral reefs on the west coast of Compton Peninsula is home to a number of marine animals. You must join the Moalboal Day Tour.
5. Go Diving with the Cebu Dive Centre. Moalboal is famous for it's Sardines Run, healthy coral ecosystem and a great chance to swim along with the whale sharks. Perfect diving sites in Moalboal include the following; Moalboal Marine Sanctuary, Compton Point, Tongo Point, and Talisay Wall. Cebu Dive Centre had it's address in Panagsama, Moalboal, Cebu. You must join the Moalboal Day Tour.
6. Enjoy the nightlife by beach in Moalboal, Cebu. Moalboal becomes the home to a number of establishments that offers exciting things to do in Moalboal at night. The seaside bars along the coastal haven offers an interesting area for guests to spend a lively night at Moalboal (One Eyed Jack Bars)

The best way to get Moalboal from Cebu City is to take a bus in Cebu South Bus Terminal bound to Moalboal, Cebu. The fare for the transportation is worth 150 pesos (2 hours & 20 minutes)

They are celebrating mass and what you witnessed people lining up in the receiving the holy communion☺️👍

When I was living in Cebu back in April this year I did the trip around the Island of Cebu like you did here. I did enjoy it and the people. I’m living in Bohol now and have done the same here several times as well as crisscrossed the center of the island as well.
How is bohol compared to cebu? Thinking about going there next 🤔

I know you say you aren’t religious, but found it interesting that you went to two churches ⛪️ on the feast day of Angel’s 😇 Michael, Gabriel and Raphael. ❤ I had never seen a drum parade to a mass celebration and your filming of those receiving the Sacrament of the 😅Most Holy Eucharist, as Jesus Christ did 2022 years ago at the Last Supper at the upper room on Via Dolorosa, Jerusalem, Israel 🇮🇱 Apparently The people of the Philippines are about 80% observant Catholics and now you’re traveling under the protection of Angels. ❤
I visited the Philippines at least ten times between 1995 and 2005 but haven't been back since. Early next year I will go back after 17 years... Your videos give me a good preview of life there now. Love the way you keep "low profile" unlike other vloggers who always put themselves in the center. One question: you said the rules for wearing a face mask have been relaxed. Could you specify that?
It means that here in Cebu specifically you're not required to put on a mask anymore except for some establishments maybe. I don't know with the other parts of the Philippines though. This was a controversial move of Cebu Island for sometime.

Hi Ken! This is the best time to try local food. So do feature more local dishes. At the same time you need be more careful with choice of food since you are on the road and don't want any stomach ailments. And we would love to see all your local accommodation no matter small or big. Have fun!

We use to have Fanta soda but i don't think we still have them now. Royal is different from Fanta but kind of the same since both are sodas.
Cebu is a nice place to travel and go around it people in the provinces fond of celebrating fiestas if it's related to the Saints of a Catholic church the one they eating at the church is called ostia round and small and white color it's a sign of the Body of Christ., any way change topic Cebu province has its surprise interesting view. maybe nxt year we'll have a vacation there. thank you for visiting the place and God Bless.🙏 keep safe always.😍
When you get to the southern part of Cebu you may want to consider taking a short ferry ride over to Dumaguete, which is in Negros Oriental province. That province may be a separate trip for you but if it isn't then you may want to take a peek of Dumaguete, a nice historical town.
Check Malapascua if you go North.

If you ever passed by Carcar City, last week it was P67/L. Maybe still the same or less. In the province area, gas prices are usually more for truck delivery.

Once you're done in cebu.. hopefully you'll visit Negros island. It's right next to cebu.
Hey Ken..been a little while since I've sent a message, but I would love to make a suggestion for a trip whilst you are in the Philippines. It takes about 5 to 6 hours in a luxury bus from Manila, or you can drive and it will take roughly 4 to 5 hrs maybe less going to Northern Luzon. Why I'm suggesting this is for you to check out a beautiful destination called One Hundred Islandss National Park. Please mate fit this into your travel plans; you won't regret it. Their are several bus companies that will take you there. Interesting fact that along the journey locals enter the bus at many stops to "sell there home made food" and snacks.

What place is this, Ken? Cebu is one of the biggest provinces in the country. It would be nice if you will take note of the places you have gone to. Good luck to your travel.. Be careful and stay safe. Hope u will be happy in your stay here.
Catholics take communion during the mass which is what you witnessed. The Phil. Was under Spanish rule for more than 200years which is why our language is speckled with Spanish words and the Catholic religion was introduced when the Spaniards arrived. When Magellan found the island of Cebu that led to the baptism of the first Catholics in Asia.
The soft drink Fanta is common here in the US as a coke product but I think Royal is common in the Phil. provinces.

When you finish in Cebu, it's worth trying to visit Dumaguete. Not far from southern Cebu. It has a big festival from Oct 20 to 30 i think. Stay safe on your travels

Ken, every town in the Philippines usually have a specialty dish! Just ask what food or dish the town is known for and they will be proud to tell you. If I remember right, Carcar town is very well known for their Lechon and Chicharon!

Where do you go when you need a toilet on a road trip around Cebu Island? Going to Php soon and thinking about renting a bike and circumnavigating the island... but what about toilet breaks???

Fanta used to be sold in the country, but they stopped selling them in the 90’s or early 2000. Royal is under Coca Cola company.
