😂 real authenticity is being authentic...empathy is empathy and authenticity is authenticity....Words have meanings. And his explanation is complete nonsensical. He basically described being inauthentic to give people what they need to make them happy. I.e. not being your true self to give them a good vibe.
He literally refered to pork pie hats in his monologue on the common view of authenticity, only to reveal he wasn't sure what a pork pie hat is. What a god.
I was thinking that maybe they edited the segments out of order.

One time I dreamt that they both came over to my house for dinner, and Josh dropped a bunch of my clothes into my toilet and then stepped on them so they'd all get squished and wet. When I freaked out and asked him why he would do that, he smugly replied that he just felt like it, and his gf seemed turned on by his bad boy attitude and demeanor. I agree. The Chili Peppers are a genius clash of funk and punk music. They also re-destroyed the idea that musical virtuosity and instrumental complexity needed to be super serious. They've just been pigeonholed by Snow (hey oh) and the other four songs by them that everybody knows.
Never paid much attention to his music. He seems like a pretty chill dude. I think I'll have to check some of his stuff out now.
