    A lot of runners focus on willpower, discipline and motivation... But in my opinion these are the wrong place to start. I think that there's something that's far more important when it comes to staying consistent with running and actually improving at running.

    Great video! 'Lots of easy endurance training where you can breathe fully' - I think that's such an important advice! I ran 10K six months ago in 1h 11min and felt quite miserable during majority of the race. Later I realized my pulse was at VO2 max almost throughout the whole run. Then I heard about zone 2 training and majority of my runs now are at around zone 2 and I must say my runs improved a lot, maybe not in terms of speed yet but I definitely feel way better during the runs, not as miserable and tired as before. Today I run 10K in 1h 30min and even though it's not a great time for a 10K I felt pretty great during the whole run which makes me want to run even more

      Yeah sounds like you discovered the intensity trap that puts people off if they don't work out why it's so hard! Keep going with the lower intensity work, you'll find speed gradually increases over time 💊
