I mainly write my own rap songs and produce hip hop beats. But as I grew up playing Commodore 64 and Amiga games and also liked the music in them I got in touch with the fantastic compositions of Chris Hülsbeck. "The Wall" from the game
"Turrican 2" always have been and still is my all time favourite track and that´s why I planned making this remix a long time ago, but always been held up by my own productions and other projects. Finally I made it! It´s an extended version and maybe quite long but I love the tunes and specially the bridge in this track.
Credits of course go to Chris Hülsbeck who composed these great melodies!

I keep coming back to this - a really nice take on one of my favourite Huelsbeck works.
this song is very difficult to mix and after many years as a careful watch, this is currently the best remake of the original version.

thank you! this game was one of the reasons, one of the tunes that HAD to be played CONTINUOUSLY! press 'escape' for music test and bobs your uncle! the highscore save feature was a definite plus! (with timestamp for machines with internal expansion/clock) i was UNBEATABLE, found ALL the items and blitzed as much as possible! anyway, appreciate the time you took to put this together and let me relive a moment of nostalgia with a QUALITY perspective! At times a little slow for my taste, but the payoff is awesome (this is The Wall from Turrican II, after all) and overall, this is very well done! :)
Eines der krassesten Turrican II Remixes überhaupt! Ich krieg fast jedesmal ne Gänsehaut wenn ich den hör! Dieser Song wurde mal um einiges "verbessert"! Gehen nicht noch ein paar geile Hülsbeck Remixes mehr? Was ist z.B. mit Apydia? \,,/(-_-)\,,/

Mir gefallen sehr viele Sachen von CH, auch die von Apydia. Aber keiner hatte mir so heftig gefallen wie The Wall. Hab mir überlegt mal To be on Top die Titelmelodie zu remixen. Ich check nochmal den Apydia Soundtrack. Mal sehen
Ich weiß was! Der Song in den Credits vom Spiel Dynablaster auf dem Amiga! Der macht heute noch richtig was her, wie ich finde. Den nochmal mit fettem Bass und richtig Wumms wäre mal Mega! Gibt es glaub ich noch gar keinen Remix von! Was hälst du denn davon? Hab leider kein Plan, wie der heißt.
Ach, und ein vernünftiger Utopia Remix muß auch mal her! Siehe oder höre den Original Song vom Soundtrack ab Minute 14:35. Ich liebe dieses Roboterstimmige Instrument, das gleich zu Anfang einsetzt. Ich bin mir sicher, du würdest ebenso mit einem Remix dieses Songs so Gänsehaut-Feeling kreieren!
@@chiefrocka4real Ich wünsch mir schon lange nen Remix aus Turrican 1, ich glaube, es war World 5. Gleich das erste nach dem 2. Fluglevel, wo man den Turm hochklettern muss. Von dem Titel hab ich bisher grad mal einen einzigen Remix gefunden, von Desert Rocks, The Wall, Walker Factory usw. gibts dagegen Dutzende...

La music est vraiment bien pensée est bien construite moi qui est joué beaucoup sur amiga je la connais parfaitement ,je trouve entre 2min55 et 3min14 il a mal choisi l'instrument qui caractérise ce fameux son unique qui donne un style est une pêche,je pense que ça a cassé l'élan,je pense qu'il aurais du choisir un autre instrument qui donne plus de pêches car celui qu'il a choisi je le trouve moux ca endore la music entre 2min55 et 3min14.voilas,la music globalement et genial ^_^ Congratulation ^_^
+BaBoOn Chobo Rough Translation: This track is really well done. I played this game a lot on the Amiga and I know it like the back of my hand. I found between 2:55 and 3:14 wasn't the best instrument for the famous and unique sound that gave the game its style. I feel like it breaks the mood and I would choose another instrument that give it that original feel during 2:55 and 3:14. Overall it is really great, congratulations.
