Haha it's pretty funny that Mike has already seen so much worse things in his finger family and mobile ad segments that these are basically a nice refreshing walk in the park. Vinny was kind of clutching his pearls through most of the segment in confusion.
In vinny's defense. His chat was fucking vile in their hatred of it and understandably for most people, he talked about it more negativity as a result. I fucking loathe his chat at times.
Half the reason I am glad he does almost half his shit prerecorded now is so chat doesn't get a chance to turn him off from doing a full game play.
@@AD-qc5zd Yeeeeeeah understable. I wish weird games weren't limited to just Sunday streams so some of the stuff had more chance to breathe. I think that game that had the fucking funny radio was played in the middle of the week and he'd have probably never gone as deep into it as he did on a sunday. One of the things I like more about Joel streams is he plays whatever weird shit he wants to whenever he wants to.

It depicts evolving warfare with a surprising amount of depth, despite the absolutely absurd base material it works with.

It's a compelling back-and-forth arms race wrapped in a sort of found-footage tokusatsu. I don't know how this gmod shitposter knew exactly what to do to make this cool, but I'm almost obsessed with it now.

it's a series about war and the escalation of technology from both sides and how scary that would be as a bystander which is really funny because its about toilet men
Been watching Dafuq!Boom videos on and off since like 2018 when he made gmod videos primarily revolving around Big Smoke. Never subscribed, but I'd always come back every few months to watch his videos. Some of the most funny videos of his were those that took memes from Russia that I never heard of and translated them into English, like the "Honey, where have you been" skit.
Thought he was already big with like a million subscribers back in 2021, so it's weird to see him blow up this much, and especially over such a nonsensical shitpost. But gmod isn't exactly easy, and you can tell a lot of effort is going into these videos. He's got great camera direction and always had a natch for the unsettling. The skibidi toilet videos definitely derive previous elements from his older videos, like the use of the male_07 model, the beat boxing, and even the camera men were in a music video he did before.
Overall, not upset to see this blow up. Good to see the younger generation watch something with more effort and creativity put into it then these horrifying npc tik toks, finger family videos, and other tik tok/TH-cam Short garbage.
Gen alpha is in good hands, we don’t need to worry about this one lmao

the remixed/sped up song is FIKI - Skibidi dop (yes yes). FIKI is a Bulgarian pop star and the original song was very popular prior to this because it's an absolute bop. There's no meaning to "skibidi," the song itself is gibberish with some Bulgarian and Turkish and is primarily about flexing on people (not unlike Off the Meds - EKSE aka the Morbius song)

I don't think the existence of this is abhorrent in the way some of the other things he watches are, but I don't understand the popularity here. I could see following this and watching it casually as a fan of gmod animation and what-not, but these videos have 100s of millions of views and it keeps going past like 20 episodes. Insane numbers for something that ultimately just doesn't seem to have much substance to it.
