Neet PG counseling is about to start soon and amidst that, I’ve been getting a lot of questions about the scope of dermatology after doing MD/DNB- there are a lot of opinions about dermatology as a branch, the most popular ones being:
• There’s a shortage of jobs in dermatology after post-graduation
• It’s become oversaturated due to overlap from other branches and of course uncertified practitioners aka quacks who are actively practicing in the field, especially cosmetology.
Are these facts? Or just myths?
And finally the big question: What are your options once you’ve completed your post-graduation?
I believe these are some pressing concerns that a lot of people have regarding the branch and that’s why I will be addressing all of these questions in today's video, to the best of my abilities!
