After trekking to Song-Kul lake in Kyrgyzstan I thought it was time to chill out for a few days, so that's what I did. In this video I walk from the meteorological tower in Cholpon Ata to one of the most popular beaches in Kyrgyzstan. Also I had some Uzbeki plov which was super delicious.

By what are you going in between locations? Maybe it would be interesting to tell that story also, provide a bit more background, maybe say in which side of the coutry are these cities located 😜

As for the national drinks мaksym, chalap and aralash, I like chalap (white) the most, it quenches thirst well in the heat (or after a hangover) 😂. maksym is like liquid bread (a nutritious drink). Personally, I don't really like aralash

How much do you pay for rent there? Where do you find the apartment?
Hi there, thanks for watching. Which apartment fo you mean? I was staying in a hotel in Karakol. Sometimes I book an apartment through Airbnb like when I was in Bishkek.
@@timtense ah okay. I'm keen to try out staying in Bishkek for about 2-3 months while working remotely, but airbnb prices are very expensive (tourist price) whereas I prefer to find those cheap $300usd per month apartments. I guess the only way is to find someone who knows Russian to help me out.
Okay, I see what you mean. I guess if it's in the off-season you could try to negotiate a price with an airbnb host, I'm sure they will give you a better price for long-term rent.
