My 95 Deville comes on and off at will. I was told it could be a ground wire loose from under the sterring column. I too have searched the web for months trying to get intel on how to troubleshoot my issue. You think this is true? or you think its playing out and I should take these same steps? Also if I do replace the screen of the cluster, will the milage read the same as before?

Not sure on the loose wire. Yes I believe mileage stays the same.

It would be similar, but not the same. Those are defferent model cars.
Would this work if I had a 95 cluster trying to put it on a 98
Yu would have to take yours out, take a couple of pics and match thar to the ones in junkyard. Or ask a junkyard which clusters are interchangeable .
What fuses did u pull before this
