Militello in Val di Catania, until 1862 called Militello in Val di Noto, is an Italian town of 7282 inhabitants in the metropolitan city of Catania in Sicily. Its inhabitants are called militellesi (in ancient times they were called "militellani").
The city is full of churches, museums, former monasteries, palaces and fountains. For the great value of its monumental heritage in 2002 it was included, together with seven other late Baroque cities of the Val di Noto, in the list of sites declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
