Here’s to the next milestone! 🙌
In this part we driving to the best spot in Southern Norway.
We have a long way to go in this part. We’ve been on the road for a week already.
Now, two weeks are left and we plan to reach the end of the World which is on Lofoten in Å.
The sun blind us all the time on the way, and this gives us a nice Norwegian orange glow on our faces.
We start from Svennevig Bru and next, we approach the Justøy Bridge.
Here we make a stop to take some nice pictures and look at the area from above.
The bridge leads to a peninsula, and we’ll visit a village there, and a few other places, and then we have to go back the same way and continue driving west.
Next we visit the village of Brekkestø, stunningly beautiful and peaceful.
Arriving at Brekkestø, we find a quaint village steeped in charm.
The peaceful atmosphere here invites us to take a short break.
The traditional wooden houses line the shore, and we can hear the gentle lapping of waves against the docks. There are many small islands here where people live.
Next we visit Kristiansand, a vibrant city full of life and energy.
As we enter Kristiansand, we are greeted by its bustling streets and friendly faces.
We see the Kristiansand Railway Station, a hub without activity.
There are no trains come and go, connecting this charming city to the rest of Norway.
Just a stone’s throw away is the Kristiansand Harbour.
The harbour bustles with fishermen and recreational boats, and the salty sea breeze fills the air.
We didn't stay long in Kristiansand and are moving on.
Continuing our journey, we make our way towards Donevannet, a tranquil lake that offers a serene escape.
On this part, we will visit a spot, that is the most beautiful in Southern Norway.
    Check this out.
Next, we go to Ålo Brygge, where the scenic beauty of the coastline captivates us.
Next we head towards Hundskilen, the landscape opens up to reveal stunning views of the coastline.
We continue on to Harkmarkfjorden, where the fjord's calm waters provide a beautiful contrast to the dramatic cliffs surrounding it. This is a great spot for photography, capturing the essence of Norway’s coastal beauty. Harkmarkfjorden is also a dreamlike little spot.
Next we’re heading to a nice spot by the sea, Dalskilen.
As we approach Eigebrekksbukta, we are greeted by golden sands and clear blue waters.
This idyllic beach beckons us to take a moment to relax and soak in the sun.
Our journey leads us to Tregdefjorden, a stunning area known for its picturesque landscapes.
As we reach Tregde, we are filled with a sense of accomplishment and awe at the beauty we've experienced along the way. There’s a nice holiday centre. Tregde’s stunning views and friendly atmosphere provide the perfect backdrop to reflect on this remarkable journey.
Finally, we arrive at Ramsvågen, where the coastal scenery is simply breathtaking.
The quaint harbour here is a perfect finale for this part of our journey.
I suggest you take a longer break here, with an overnight stay, swimming,
and everything the adventurer’s heart desires.
