Sifu Sergio I don't think it is necessary for you to clarify or justify your video. People will get offended no matter what or how you say it. Keep up what you are doing and the people with an open mind will hear you. Continue your great work and don't waste your breath on the negativity.

Brother you are not responsible for people that want to nail you no matter how much effort you put out in explaining things (a teacher can only teach if there are students) . This is far too draining. If they wanna learn they can pay to learn 🤣 free info comes with a price (they get mixed ideas that theirs a special formula and words for jin or qi or what ever can somehow better their martial arts, all the ones that have the martial qi don't talk about it but you have been brave to show this already with helpful instructions) . Thanks so much for taking your time and making these videos❤

I will add one last thing... Years Before I started taking Wing Chun... I was on a sort of Spiritual Journey towards higher Enlightenment. In that time, I studied and tried many different meditation methods. I was doing two 1-hour sessions per night... every night, for just shy of 3 years. I also had bought a book on "Breathing", which appeared to be of Indian / Yogic descent. I regularly practiced two special breathing exercises, from within that book. One of those methods was to learn how to separate your upper lung breathing, from your lower Dantian... and to Invert them. Basically.. to first fill the Dantian, and then fill the lungs (the exhale the dantian first... then exhale the lungs). This was a wonderful exercise, that gave me greater abilities, as a result... including special internal tissue and muscle developments (that likely cant be developed with normal exercises). The other exercise I did, was called "Breath Packing". Id later discover that deep sea divers (that do not use suits / air tanks), use this exercise as well. Combine the two... and my Lung Capacity probably multiplied about 5x its previous state. I could exhale, with great vocal air volume being audibly heard.. for like 2 to 3 minutes.
HOWEVER.. I realized that you do NOT use the Dan Tian breathing exercise / method... when doing Silent + Static Meditation sessions... because that causes physical Stresses, and you need to exert physical efforts to do it. The fastest was to meditation results... is by getting the body to fall into "sleep mode".. while managing to keep the Consciousness completely awake and in-control (which I eventually was easily able to do so). This got me to Attain the "Quiet Mind' state, in about 3 months time... where as many others have spent decades trying.. and failing to Achieve that Permanent brain change.
When I started taking Wing Chun... I could tell where there was missing information about the proper breathing methods. As most, the teacher himself breathed out in a way that was audible (very similar to the teeth hissing breath method that you see in modern MMA).. and coordinated with movements... but... it was nothing like what I learned.. and what Id eventually See + Hear from others. I began adding the Proper ancient breathing methods to what I was doing in Wing Chun... which is a much more Fluid and Fast exhale.
Now.. I do in fact breath with my entire lungs, as a whole... rather than merely using a shallow "Upper lungs only" method. Im not sure this would qualify as "Sinking the Chi". But I know that I do not intentionally pull my abdomen Inwards (anymore?), like with breathing exercises. That said, Im 50 yrs old now... with a good Belly on me... and I have not been doing the arts for quite some years now... so I cant recall exactly how I MIGHT have reacted in the past. It seems currently, that my abs seem to remain pretty "solid" when Im doing any martial movements... They just tighten a bit Tighter, when exhaling + attacking / movements.
The main difference, is in the Exhale. For large and powerful movements, I open the mouth a bit more.. and exhale using a cross between an Huhh and a Hoe. The air is allowed to exit my lung near completely, in a single Instant. No teeth slowing the air flow down. For smaller and quicker repeated movements... like Chained punches... you can use very quick in and out breaths through the nose. Or a long "partial only out breaths" though the nose or mouth. There are certain movements, speeds, and power levels.. that will cause you to have some special alterations.
Listen to Grandmaster Chen Xiaowang, of Chen Family Tai Chi... when he Releases his Fajin. The sound of the air output, is fast, Deep, and of great Air Volume:
    th-cam.com/video/gj6UaEay5Lg/w-d-xo.html
This is similar to how I release. Not quite at that level... and of course, these are mostly only showing Power Moves... rather than the faster movements, which would show off the rapid fire version of this.

My favourite part of this video is at 14:22.
In a lot of these videos you seem to defend yourself or react to other people. I'm no one to judge, I just feel like this is unnecessarily polarising certain topics, when it should be about the art. I can see this is a byproduct of passion, but I also feel like getting dragged into debates, I don't belong into.
Anyhow, I'm thankful for the insights you provide concerning the (different) arts and I'll be happy to meet you first hand and learn from you (some day soon).

First of all I m not student or partner of Iwka and Eternal Spring Institute, I m a very passionate guy about martial arts and by sport of combat in fact in my childhood I trained and grew up with karate shotokan (school of Sensei Maurino several times olympic italian champion), kali arnis eskrima, wing tsun leung ting lineage and western boxing (I m from south Italy, Caserta, and this is a land of many important boxers, we have a great tradition)
I think that the Sifu Sergio's work is very very valuable, thank to his research today we know and can understand much more about "Kung Fu" and not only. (For example in the past thanks to his explanations regarding the technology of the Yee Gee Kim Yeung Ma stance I understood more about Tyson's close quarter combat, or for the sinking the Chi/Qi the link with myofascial biomechanics, this is priceless.)
As he says "Kung fu... is not only theory you have to be able phisically demonstrate and back up your theory, this is crucial...". And that s exactly how it is, otherwise it is a contradiction and this generates misunderstanding about the real Kung Fu and consequently this generates BullShi...Do. Another point, if this important project by Sifu Sergio can make money for him and for his collaborators, what s the wrong? It is clear that the purpose is about the Art, and their driving force is the passion and the love for sharing something of beautiful and important, and it is precisely this that creates an appeal that leads many people to follow and appreciate the project. So, for all this reason I think that everyone should appreciate this project, and I say more it would be fantastic if inside and for other ancient martial art there was someone like Sifu Sergio. my 2centz. So keep it real and see ya

In the name of truth, have to admit that there's a bit of a conflict between words and actions when someone speaks about freedom of speech and has a habit of deleting comments. Actions always speak more than words, that's probably the most fundamental thing in his teachings and most of the kung fu subculture. But buddhists use to also behave differently, they can evoke momentum that's not beneficial for themselves and usually no good deed goes unpunished.
Also, one important truth of being detached is that it shouldn't base on forcefully pushing oneself away from something. What goes up, must come down. Just in case, to cover all bases for the future, giving a heads up that every time some group has found team spirit by highlighting how detached/separated it is from someone or something, foundation of that integrity has been highly impermanent.

To me it seems clear that once attained, deep skill is safe to show to people as you have done freely. Because you have it. Though we have never met, I have trained with people that have met you. I have also trained with Tai Chi sifus who can Fa and An, your touch is referred to in exactly the same terms by those that have trained with you. I have never seen the theorist display any internal skill at all - indeed, any skill, it is just engineering without demonstration .

Ohh boy... I looked up this dude.. and recognized him instantly from watching a few of his crazy long and largely incoherent rants. Seeing a few of his students fail to have any solid structure and functionally technical skills.. I instantly tuned out... because Theory is very different from actual Practice. If you can not Physically Demonstrate what you Speak about... NOR are able to teach the physical methods to Students... then what you have to say... holds very little actual value.
A theoretical astrophysicist, may help people to understand concepts in space... but that doesnt mean that they can build a "Light-Speed" Space Craft. They cant really help much, to get Men up to Mars, for example. These things take real world Work, Experiences, and Dedicated Technical Skillsets (that were Well Earned, though hardcore efforts, over time).
A Kung Fu teacher... needs to have the Capability, to physically Demonstrate the concepts he speaks of... and every instance when and where he was Asked to do so.. he refused, and or made up Excuses. Why? One of the Yip brothers is like 80 years old.. and is still teaching people PHYSICALLY in HK, despite being way too old, weak, and feeble. Yet this dude, cant provide physical examples... and has the nerve to challenge someone whom Can? Its madness.
IF you cant do these things yourself... then develop yourself to the level where you can... THEN make your challenges.

I think you didn't have to spend so much time on Hendrik Santo, one of the most arrogant people I ever met in the wing chun world.
I agree totally with your point of view. To be able to read classics and to make understandable to many, doesn't make anybody a Kung Fu teacher.
It is not because Hendrik Santo speaks in scientific terms, that makes him a Wing Chun expert. An engineer, a scientist, a physics expert, can understand the classics and translate them in modern language, but this doesn't make them Wing Chun experts.
Like being able to read Cuisine books from 1200 doesn't make anybody a cook.
So in Hendrik Santo's case it is not a wing chun expert to speak. He is just a translator!
Some of his solutions, and footwork, I am not sure if he takes from Classics, but for fighting don't have any sense basing on every fighter's experience.
This thing has to be clear.
So, he says this gratis. But gratis doesn't mean that he doesn't earn anything.
He gets a lot of EGO-coins!!!
And it is really little his contribution, because the most of the things he says, you already explained in Italy between 2004 and 2005 .
    So nothing new.
But he wants to be, under this cover of humbleness, the one who is considered the savior of wing chun.
Some few times he can say something different than what you taught already 20 years ago, like for example his idea of plum flower, which is different, no idea why, from what Leung Ting taught you.
So I keep curious (honestly I would like to have a video from you explaining why of this discrepancy).
But your idea makes sense. Its one not. Not sure where he derives it from.
Then he abuse of Yip Man's name, using him when Yip Man said that Wing Chun and Weng Chun are different, which in part could be true, but not when I say him that the Yip Man's Wing CHun pole is partially connected with Weng Chun.
Or when he uses again Yip Man's name to credit his own ideas, and then telling that Yip Man didn't know Wing Chun, because of his Bong Sao, or Gum Sao executions which are not like 1850 Wing Chun.
Or he chooses to ignore old Tang Yik movies where of course Tang Yik fought also at different levels, squatted, single les take down...and says that Weng Chun doesn't have short distance!
So basically, when is necessary he bends history to demonstrate his own theories.
That man is really a liar when is about Wing Chun things, just to discredit others and making bigger himself.
He is also a coward, because he makes something to appear challenge, when this kind of learning really needs to touch hands, otherwise Tyson would have been a fighter just by reading Jack Dempsey's or CUs D'Amato's books.
Anyway thank you for restarting shooting videos.
    Regards.
