Gotta love the rearrangement of the track floating island from TR2. Fits nicely in the overall map, hard and long task with strange things and lost city and civilization.
Genius level. Easily one of, if not the best in the game. Difficulty is fantastic. Theme is fantastic. Enemies and puzzles are just right. Has that classic TR feel. Enjoyed it even more on PlayStation because the darkness suits it.
perhaps the most difficult level or the old tomb raider series. i think the creators even with the secrets gave it all and in order to fully complete it you must be an excellent raider... notice that if you had lost the rocket launcher playing the nevada levels last in the row then this is where you get it again. in the beginning of the level. instead of a rocket, there lies the launcher. thank you so much for this video. trully helpful
ps plus, the only one which reminds the 'tomb' essense of lara croft. large, complicated, endless and able to lose yourself like in a huge tomb. yeah, that's the only level why this game is called tomb raider.
The sound track of this level scared the b-J out of me. I didn't know what to expect hearing all the eerie sounds and stuff thinking there's a monster around each corner. Got me paranoid.......... 0_0
I'd played and completed the previous two Tomb Raider games, but Tomb Raider 3 was too difficult and this level's why. Enjoyable, but insanely difficult. Great game series, nonetheless.
Just need a help here...in the Room of Switches, when Lara gets down in the ground, why in your video there are no mosquitos at all, and in mine they start to come and it makes impossible to go ahead?? Really it makes this just unplayable... is there anything to do before I missed?
Deco Lazzari Don't step on the orange strip across the floor in front of the main double doors, if you don't then the dragonflies will not appear at all
If it weren't for those horrible, horrible wasps, I would agree with you. Not only are they creepy and freak me out, they don't play into the rest of the game's theme.
I just dont know how you could touch the ground and the bugs never come, in your vídeo, but in the Switches Room you may NOT touch the ground, if you do so you just can't continue.
Speak for yourself, I have a great phobia of flying insects in real life so you can imagine I hate them. And yeah, I don't think they play into the mutant theme like the (awesome) Tinnos beasts do.

37:20 - what did you do to make that block appear to get secret 3?

Okay, that's fine. I still think they are mutant enough to classify. I used to be frightened of them as a kid.
I got all the masks and inserted them all, yet nothing happens. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance!
you missed the second Uli Key that you find in the dungeons, after you open the door under the room with the platforms

They don't play into the theme of mutants?

way way way to big and complicated level, what were they thinking?
It’s fitting as a last dungeon Zelda type of level before the big finale.
