Omigosh! This is brilliant! My kid was just asking me if I would make him a nature journal because we’ve been observing and drawing animal tracks. Normally I just use about 12-20 IKEA white craft paper sheets with a colored paper cover, fold, and staple them into a book. But maybe I need to buy a proper, thicker book for some of these (Book of Centuries, Nature Journal, etc.)-I imagine they carry on through several years, yes? Also, LOVE your channel. It sounds like you have been doing a wonderful job of providing your child with materials to follow his interest in the area of nature! You can absolutely use anything that you have on hand, however as you mention, you may find that a thicker book with good quality paper will last you some time.
