    Hey Leo. Very good video. Agree with all the EQ choices and also the mix sounds good as well too. This will help a lot of people who want to learn to EQ guitars. One of my favorite things to do is use the Make Believe Plugins Sontec EQ for those times when you want some EQ without adding any color (when that’s the option you’re going for).

    Hey Leo! This is a really great video for insight into all the post production techniques that artists DO implement in their recordings that make the tone of the instruments change from just the actual instrument hardware used to record. Something many people fail to recognize when thinking about what they can or cant do with the tone of their instrument on just their amp and effects alone. One question for you, you are using delays in post right, i noticed that you've got some delay trails when you would stop the mix? Thanks!

    • @LeoGibsonGtr

      Thank you so much, I'm happy that you appreciate the video!
      Yes, I always add delay in post, as I can tweak the delay according to the song and the mix as I want.
      Thank you!

    Great info Leo and you did a good job of explaining. The second half of that solo sure sounded like it was inspired by Nuno Bettencourt. I never get tired of hearing you play. God bless and rock on 👍😎🎸

    Thank you for this video Leo! Can i as a user for instance simulate that for a Song Patch on a Modeller? I use for example a global eq with upper shelf of 6,3 khz and la low shelf or 300 hz. Then after amp and Speaker i use a graphic eq to boost things like 2 -4 khz and parametric eq to put a cover on odd frequency in the signal chain? I am also able to limit the guitar gain in the settings..so is there something like gain threshold ballpark number like -9 to - 13 db as a starting point? may be a stupid question, anyway thanks a lot for the great tutorial ! ( also for your super solo in the song)

      You are welcome!
      I think you can. The only thing missing is the colour of the EQ Plugins that simulate for instance API, NEVE or SSL. Using different EQ simulation for different tracks help to create separation. For instance the lead guitarist may eq his guitar using a Neve simulation, where the comping guitarist may use an API simulation....those simulation are typically missing in amp modeling pedalboards....
      Thanks!!!

    Ottimo video caro Leo.

      Ciao Nik
