This load was supposed to be a quick short local load. It Turned into spending a night in the truck. I was waiting at the shipper for over 7 hours to be loaded. Broker ended up having to pay me detention. Thanks for watching and supporting my channel.

Mannnn I just had to wait 17hrs to get loaded. Originally was suppose to be loaded at 14:00 yesterday, got pushed back to 18:00. Didn’t get loaded until 11:15 this morning. I’ll never understand it man 😒

I've been running production a few times over the years and a supervisor will walk up and tell me they've got a truck waiting on the box of product I'm working on.
"Well, who's idea was that? Maybe talk to scheduling, tell them to get their ducks in a row." I sympathize with the drivers, the machine's going to run what it runs, trying to speed it up or force it is only going to cause more scrap and wasted time.
A lot of times it just comes down to miscommunication.
Get that detention pay, and hopefully it'll incentivise facility management to keep their docks running smooth.

Man I’m a ltl driver that is out of Charlotte and deliver to US foods every now and then and it takes hours to get unloaded. I had 1 skid to get off and it took them 4 hrs to get that skid off. Hate going there and foodlion distribution center. Both take forever

Marv thank you brother you gave me the confidence to get my restriction lifted I been training for 2 days at my original school & it’s like learning to drive all over again I test today at 12 PM PST I’m nervous as hell but thank you for giving me that push I needed to start this year off strong. 💪

Stalled out once & I’m not double clutching I showed my instructor your shorts & got the response that’s the quickest way to fail lol. To be honest I have no rhythm at all. Got the gear pattern down but no rhythm.
