Congrats again on the new operation any new employees ? or are the 802'S putting in more hours your family working together is priceless for the same common goal.
Great job! Understand the change for the cows, do maintenance work for dairy farm. They went for double 5 parlor to a 32 carousel, it was quite the struggle to get cows trained. BTW, they went from 400 cows to milking some between 900-1000 cows now. Keep up the great job and really enjoy your video. You have all the respect in the world from me for starting farm up again.
Really like ur channel & all the hard work ur guys put in to get this new operation going❗️. So nice things are settling dwn with the cows.. Looking forward to ur next video❗️❗️👍😊😊🇨🇦
Awesome video nice to see you're new dairy is running smoothly after all you're hard work Cow's looked so content and relaxed even when you were putting out the feed Really enjoyed the video as always looking forward to the next one Best wishes from Ireland
I’m told if you keep your holding area a little darker and parlor really bright cows will naturally want to come where it’s brighter, farm theory on TH-cam/tiktok from Northern Ireland has talked about it with his parlor.
Been looking forward to seeing this parlor up and running ! , sucks a little that your milkers are camera shy , you guys did well in the amount of time you had , where did you get your new herd from ?
Where in Vermont are you guys located? Seem you're close to the Berkshire area. I grew up in the Highgate area. My dad used to work for David Dragon and McCallister and a few others. Cool to see a farm so close to home.
@@802Farmers that’s very cool. I took over my father in laws dairy farm years ago and started it back up. All went well until one of the brothers wanted more for land then he originally stated. Long story short in 2015 we had to sell all of our cows.
Glad to see the cows are settling in a bit. Gotta be a stressful transition but you guys are pushing through.
The first 4 days where definitely stressful. They are settled in now and are loving it. Thanks for commenting. Love your videos!

Awesome video I was looking forward for this video. Nice to see this farm running again.looking forward to see more videos
Thanks you. Happy it’s running again.
I cut a 1/4 of one side of a 5 gallon pail out and put it over my grain bin motor. It also keeps the belt dry. I have been replacing lights with led
One of the 3 has that done. Gotta do the other two.
Nice looking bunch of cows !
Thank you !
Interesting 🐄
Thanks for watching
It's not very often you see a dairy farm brought back to life.
No it’s not. Very cool to be able to do this.
you have got some great looking cows
Thank you!
Great video. How are the cows adjusting to there new home. Everything looks awesome. So happy for you and your new adventures
They are adjusting well. Takes a little bit of time to get used to a new farm.
Great looking milking parlour guys
Thank you!
How long has this farm been out of dairy production? It is really cool that you were able to purchase it and bring cows back!
2-3 years.
Everything is looking great nice job pulling it together
Thank you!
Feeding those lovely ladies, a favorite sight
Thank you for watching!

That might be true. But once cows are tried they will walk right in either way.
BouMatic, best milking system ever! Put mine in my stall barn in 1980.
The system works good
Great video guys
Thank you!
Been looking forward to seeing this parlor up and running ! , sucks a little that your milkers are camera shy , you guys did well in the amount of time you had , where did you get your new herd from ?

We are in Berkshire
@@802Farmers I thought so.
I sure like that ramp to drive up to dump into the TMR. Everything will work out for you, it just takes time. Rome wasn't built in a day.
Thank you. Very true!
You might want to look at LED conversions for the lights you have Save on electricity and longer life on the bulbs so save money there.
If we do anything definitely go with LED
Great video need to make one of the other farm
Thank you. If I get time
How did you fill that barn with cows ? Did you have a surplus on home farm or auction or cattle dealer ?
We brought these over from the home farm
You're also milking at the home farm or moving it to this farm? Sorry if I missed any any of your videos.
Milking at both.
The return lanes look like could use as palpation rail. Nice set up.
Never heard of that. Thank you.
@802Farmers that's old school wi stuff.
Kinda dumb question but what kind of paint did you use on the pipes? Thanks for the videos!
can we see the gates go up after milking them when they exit thanks
Yes
How many cows your running in the new place ? Have you expanded ur quota or took pressure off the other farm?
200. We brought cows from the home farm
cows asociate people with feeding time
They know when the feeds coming. 👍🏻
So I’ve watched a little bit of a few videos. Are you a new start up of an old setup ?
We have our main farm. We just purchased this farm that hasn’t shipped milk in several years. We started it back up.
