I really never get tired of seeing these jeepneys that seem to me to be unique and original creations of Filipino ingenuity. Some are even baroque, both because of the elaborate design and the intrinsic elegance. Perhaps the only thing missing in these excellent videos would be the possibility of knowing what the interviewer and the interviewees say in Tagalog, if it were possible perhaps to have the translation in English subtitles via closed caption. Gracias desde Mexico, keep the good work!
Thanks sir for the suggestion ill see what we can do about the subtitles but still thank you for viewing my jeepney videos which is the symbolic tradition of our country that due to corruption some of our government officials doesnt want to support it anymore they want to remove our traditional jeepneys to replace it with their so called "modern jeepneys" that looks like mini bus or coasters,Yet still we fight for our traditional jeepneys with the slogan of #NotoJeepneyphaseout and by filming and showcasing the Good units rather than the old and dilapited units which is they only see.Again sir thank you so much for watching and keep safe😊😊
@@gabstvkajeeptrip Any country that had such a powerful and unique symbol as jeepneys should treat them as national treasures. They represent the struggle of the heroic Filipino people during the Second World War and the talent of that same people to solve a serious social problem such as transportation, first in a destroyed city such as Manila, later in all cities after the Japanese occupation. The builders and owners of these vehicles did so with such talent and grace that they are admired by people all over the world. It strikes me how they used an Isuzu diesel engine as a power plant, in all the intelligence and capacity prevailed to move those authentic elegant, striking and splendid "Carruajes". ¡Salven al jeepney!
